This product really sucks. Really not worth it even for the price. The nickel finish on what seems like plastic made it even worse. I don’t usually write reviews as this is actually my first. To even consider returning it I will actually lose money. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AT ALL. Even just for reference. There are much better ones out there. FLEXBAR YOU LET ME DOWN

Not worth buying this comparator at the given price. The surface finish is not visible with chrome finish. Nor it can be felt with fingers.

Kinda cheap feeling, though you get what you pay for. A decent visual guide for customers or sales people, but not appropriate for engineers that are spec'ing surface finishes. Also, The only difference between the plastic and nickel version is the plastic is nickel plated. I almost feel as though the plastic might show the finish better, as it's not covered by a cheap coating.

This looks like something you would get in a gumball machine. Cheap plastic, with fake finish. It is cheaper than a real comparator, but you get what you pay for in this case (or less than you pay for). Not suitable for a real QA department, though it does give you some basic idea of what surface finishes are like.

Poorly painted silver color small PLASTIC comparator. The labels are difficult to read. Not worth the $20 + $9 shipping. The weight is 1 oz. It could have been mailed in an envelop for less than a dollar. The actual postage on the oversized box was $2.26.
