Each type of surface finish is accurately and consistently reproduced to give the operator a realistic idea of the feel, appearance, and texture of the machined components. Two methods for easy comparisons: loupe and/or scratch tests, are for understanding the feel of the finish. A very cost-effective method for checking as it saves time and reduces the production of scrap caused by poor finishes. This product has a 1-year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. Fowler, an American company, manufactures inspection and measuring instruments such as electronic indicators, calipers, bore gages, and micrometers. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Newton, MA.

The first words that came out of my mouth “wow. This is really awesome”I work as an electromechanical engineer and I’ve been doing a lot of work with surface finishes and wanted a perspective of how they looked and felt in my hands. This does just that. Made out of 1 solid piece of aluminum it looks like. Quality 10-10. Now I just need to buy/make a nice box to hold this bad boy and I’ll be set!
