I don't have a lot of experience with different types of moving blankets, I've usually just used what the moving company provided! But these seem quite sturdy and well-made. As I looked through the different kinds I was unsure what was available as far as thickness. These are not super thick, there is some padding, and I think that these would work well for most all-purpose moving. If you have items that are very fragile or that you are very concerned about, you might look for something a bit thicker. But I have moved often enough to know that if you do have things that are really valuable or fragile maybe you shouldn't throw them in a moving truck with a bunch of other things, especially if you're doing a DIY move.

A classic case of "you get what you pay for". Did they help me move? Yes. Are they durable? Nope. These are light-duty moving blankets at best. I didn't want to pay for the heavy duty ones, but I was hoping for a bit more quality. I bought a lot of these and we used them all. Many of the blankets ripped, got poked through, or tore in spots.They did a decent job of protecting our belongings, but unless you're using them for local moves in the back of a pickup they're not going to hold up beyond a move or two at most. I was hoping to reuse them for some time but that's not this product. Happy they got my stuff moved without damage and they were cheap, so that's a win.
