I needed one of these instruments for two projects in my home. I'm absolutely delighted with its functionality and its elegant design. reliability. I really don't see a single feature about it that needs improvement ! However, because I've owned it for merely a few weeks I can't yet speak of its reliability. However, if and when it suddenly fails I'll immediately update this review with an assessment about. Thus, if you see no updates to this review, you can be assured that mine is still functioning like new.My uses for it so far :1. 20 air purifiers ( We have 5 cats sharing our home. ) that together add up to a lot of electricity. Their fan motors each have PF correction circuitry, but those circuits can "wear out".2. Many red LED phototherapy lamps for use in 120 vac floorstand and tabletop fixtures. Each of these each have integral AC-to-DC converters, and these power supplies each contain a transformer. The PF of these lamps varies --- depending on the manufacturer and the cumulative number of usage hours.

Funciona bien, por el momento no he tenido la oportunidad de comprobar con un dispositivo más confiable, pero por el momento el funcionamiento está muy bien, por el momento confío en que la lectura es correcta

Contact address given on the Suraielec website is invalid. I attempted to contact them with my problem device and my email was kicked back with a fatal error, undeliverable. The watt meter delivered was DOA. Well, not precisely...it allows entry of cost per kwh, and displays line hz and overload setting...everything else is zeroed out. I bought this specific unit for its high maximum overload of 3680 watts because previous meters I bought would redline on my 1800 watt induction cooktop. But the others work fine in all other aspects as designed with that overload limitation. The Suraielec unit simply does not function.I foolishly disposed of the packaging, so I can't return it. And since I can't contact the seller, I'm out $17 with a not very good paperweight.

Does exactly what it was designed for, and very easy to use. Just be aware that it is not CSA approved.

I bought the Suraielec meter and a similar-price Ketotek meter to compare them. Both are reasonably easy to use, but the Ketotek has somewhat larger buttons for switching between modes. The Ketotek is also MUCH easier to reset when you want to restart the power usage measurement. All the functions worked as advertised on both units. I did not test for accuracy against a known reference, but the voltage was 120 +- 0.2 as expected. All other measurements looked reasonable for our toaster oven. The back-lighting makes the data very easy to read on both units. The Suraielect back-lighting goes off after about 20 sec (my preference), and comes on again when you next push a button. The Ketotek back-lighting stays on for several minutes, and also returns when you push a button. The biggest difference is in how you reset the cumulative kWh and time measurements. To reset the Ketotek, you push the + and - buttons simultaneously for 3 sec. To reset the Suraielec, you have to stick a small clip (provided) or a paper clip into a small hole. That's a nuisance and requires you to keep a paper clip handy when using the device. Consequently I returned the Suraielec and ordered a second Ketotek.

Been able to track the cost and live wattage usage of my 3d printers. I also plugged it into an portable AC and the readings were decently accurate for the price point.Saves values after power reset, and only resets values through manual process. The fourth photo is a built in setting to set an upper limit to power draw.

Very easy to use watt meter, does what it’s supposed to do. The backlight is a must since it’s difficult to see when it’s off.My only complaint is that the product came with a very scratch screen out of the box… I think it’s new? but the scratched screen makes it look bad. Maybe putting a screen film protector on it to avoid scratching it and then you just peel it off or maybe just better packaging so the product doesn’t tumbles around so much and stop scratching the screen.
