Inspector failed this meter as it isn't stamped for use in USA... approved in canada but be wary of using it with permitted work in the US.

I was doing some research into how much power my mini splits were actually using. I pulled the wires from the breaker, crimp spliced an extension, and VoiLa! Super fast, super easy, and only temporary for a 30 day sampling. I do wish it had a 0 reset option, but other than that, it seems well made, from sturdy materials. I would definitely recommend this meter.

A great product, I purchased the second time for my other properties to calculate the electricity.

I bought this to replace another analog meter I had purchased on Amazon that melted after 2 months. This meter has been working correctly for 10 months so far. I highly recommend. Also, at first just looking at it your like what? But if you look up the instructions on their website, it works as intended.

Works as described. The only problem is the screws that tap the wires are a bit flimsy so if the wire is just a little too big to use the bushings, you have to really hold the wires steady to get them to cut into the Insulation as theres enough space the screws just go around the wires. After installing it I wish I had just drilled the bushing out to fit my wire. That would have been a fix.

Hooked to 240 volt sub box as instructed, turned power back on, and it is working as advertised. Great little device to measure power use at a secondary breaker box, and required no special wiring. Two hot wires pass through matching opening in device, hook back up to main lugs, screw two small screws into those hot wires, turn on power, and it cumulatively measures kwh. Perfect, at a reasonable cost.

Came as described, easy to install. Not so easy to mount...best to get the DIN Rail...I used a home made bracket. I can now monitor electric use on a 50 Amp circuit that has an RV on it. Perfect.
