This tie out is really well made and durable. The twisting stake works really well, and was easy to put into the ground. It's frozen now, and I tried to move it to be on the other side of a yard inflatable, and there simply is NO moving it, so make sure it is set in the ideal place before the time of year where the ground will freeze comes!I really like that they include a nice strap with handle for storing it or for travelling with it. My daughter and I go play activities in the back yard a lot, so being able to easily wrap it up and take it back there was a nice feature!I absolutely Recommend this product by this brand!

I like that the dog tie out stake is relatively easy to screw into the ground, and having the carry strap for the cable makes this convenient to bring with me for when I take my dog somewhere. Obviously, it is less useful in the winter when the ground is frozen, but I can usually find a tree or post to attach the tether to then. The hardware is good quality.

I recently adopted a little black German Shepherd Dog puppy. She's a peach, but when I adopted her, which was sooner than I had planned, I quickly realized I was missing a lot of gear that makes dog ownership a lot easier and more enjoyable.I like tie out stakes for limited use. I'm not a person who leaves their dog tied up outside unsupervised. There's too much risk of them getting free without you noticing, or having kids wander into your yard to investigate and possibly upsetting your dog, or just being exposed to the elements too long. But I work in my yard and on vehicles in my driveway pretty regularly, and don't mind her sitting out with me while I'm doing these things. When I saw this tie out I decided to give it a shot. The tie-out came in a marked box and contains the stake, the a steel tie-out cable, and a carrying handle for the cable.Installation isn't complicated but does require a little muscle. To make it easier to screw down find a metal pole or some other rigid stick that you can thread through the handle in the stake and simultaneously push down on the rod while twisting clockwise.Use is pretty simple: you screw the stake into the ground, attach the cable to the ring on the stake, and the other end to your puppy's collar. It's a solid tie-out stake! They have some of these where instead of the normal corkscrew they have blades that fan out when you screw down. This style tends to be easier. It's long enough to hold fast into the ground even against some heavy jerking, but if you'll want to check after the first few uses to make sure it's not working its way loose.Overall I'm pleased with this tie out. It's tough, installs well, and will hold my pup. The included cable makes it a single purchase to get what you need, and the price is competitive.I recommend!

This has been a handy dog tie out. We do a lot of camping , and this set is portable. I like having the ability to roll the tie out cable up, and having a storage wrap to keep it all together. This keeps it from getting tangled during packing, and transit. 32 feet of cable is a lot of leash for a dog to feel free. Our dog is not an aggressive puller, so this tie out has held up well with him. Great portable dog tie out set.

Very well made, this works great in both sand and loose dirt. I can easily let my dog join us on the beach without the fear that he will run away. Also, it works great with more than just one dog, which is AWESOME and unexpected. It packs nicely in a bag, and even includes the rubber handle part I need to tighten it down in the sand. The cable is SUPER strong too, and I have full confidence that this tie down set will last a very long time. Very happy overall.

I live on a busy street without a fence. Using this stake and leash, my dog can be outside and run away without the risk of heading into the street. I only have her on it when I am outside with her. She can safely play while I do yard chores or wash my car. It takes a little strength to set the stake into the ground completely, but once there, I know it is safe to attach the leash and my dog. If I had more space, I would have gotten the longer leash, but so far, this is working out the way I had hoped.

This is a good solid tie out set. You'll have better luck turning the stake to bury it in soil if you use a solid stick, hammer handle, etc. to give you better torque. It'll all depend on how compact your soil is. And PLEASE don't stake this in the ground where there maybe be power lines or other wiring. The safety clips are solid. My only concern is when winter gets here. I have a feeling it'll freeze up more easily than the old fashioned type of clips. And it doesn't come off the cable (without cutting) so I am not sure what we'll do. Clipping it to the the dog lease from the back door - I really like that to be quick. The carrying handle - I'm actually using that for a short extension cord storage.
