SuperSteer Trac Bars
Almost every RVer has experienced that uneasy feeling that occurs when the steering wheel is turned suddenly- a swinging motion that threatens your control over the vehicle. SuperSteer's Trac Bar puts an end to that "Tail Wagging the Dog" sensation, greatly improving stability and driver confidence. The SuperSteer Trac Bar attaches at one end to the frame and the other to the rear axle, preventing side-to-side motion.

Check your GVWR to ensure correct fit!
It's easy to get mixed up when checking your vehicle weight rating. We fit our SuperSteer parts using the GVWR (found on the tag in the picture above). Please ensure you DO NOT use the GCWR as a guide. This will give you the combined weight rating for towing a vehicle, and will be a larger rating than the GVWR. The SuperSteer Trac Bar SS401 is specifically rated to fit Ford F53 20-22.5k GVWR & Kodiak C4500/5500 18-22k GVWR and will not fit if your vehicle has a different weight rating.

Even though it was double boxed there was a hole that went into both boxes and I was missing hardware. Either it didn’t get packed , or fell from box even though hardware was mostly in a plastic bag. Missing all the lock washers for 14mm, 1 for 5/8” bolts. Also a regular flat washer for 5/8” bolt.

This really takes a lot of the sway out of the vehicle from cross winds and passing Semis. It's an inexpensive addition, and should come from the factory! It's that necessary. If you don't have one, you have no idea what you're missing! Get one - Now!

I would highly recommend this product for your F53 chassis. I installed this on my 2021 F53 chassis Jayco Alante and it made a massive difference. This is my second motorhome, and I wish I would’ve installed this on my old RV because it made a such a huge difference in the way the motorhome reacts on the road.Pretty much the second I started driving I noticed a difference right away, no more rocking around going down driveways or on freeways.Remember to call Tech Support for any questions you may have that way you don’t make any mistakes. They are very responsive and they have a lot of knowledge about this industry. They pretty much answered any question that I had and more.

Expensive but wholly worth the dough. Most impactful steering upgrade you can get for your F53 motorhome. Eliminates a vast amount of wander and sway in the front end--the feeling your always driving on a windy day. So impressed, I just bought the rear-end kit!

Best upgrade I have made. No more sawing on the steering wheel almost out of control! The white knuckle driving with a death grip is over! Big trucks no longer have any effect on the RV! I own a 2008 Winnebago 35j class A on a Ford F 53 chassis. It had a steering stabilizer on it when I bought but was still hard to handle. Once I installed this it was like driving a pick up truck! I installed in a couple hours with an impact gun, Sockets and Wrench’s best money I have spent. My RV is now a pleasure to drive.
