Perfect !! Cannot fault this for the price. I bought 2 of the Aqua colour Queen size. In these winter months I wanted something to put over my duvet and its perfect. Its made an amazing difference, it feels weighted so much warmer and keeps the duvet in place too all night. No its not as thick as some bedspreads which is why it surprised me how lovely and warm it feels over my duvet, it just holds lovely on me like a weightes blanket and my bed feels so much cosier to sleep in now. I decided to buy my son one after mine as this isnt the brightest colour, definitely darker than picture but still great and as its much cheaper in the Aqua you really cannot complain . Its not stiff or rough and altho in pic it looks see through its really not at all, its just like a weighted blanket so in the summer months to come it will be ideal on its own. My bed just stays tidier as it doesnt allow duvet to move around and come off in the night, I,m really glad I found this bedspread, thank you.

This comforter fits our split-king sized bed nicely, it washes well, and the color was exactly what I was looking for. Some reviews stated that it is ok for year around use, I personally think it is a little thin for really cold winter nights.

I ordered this bedspread because the reviews were very tempting. When I opened the package, I was disappointed with the quality. The cover is very thin and tawdry. I sent it back.

Nice and big for my king bed with a very deep mattress! Looks very pretty… I gave it 4 stars because feels so stiff but will probably soften when I wash it… happy it is cotton but a tad expensive!

WOW AMAZING!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!I don't write reviews but I felt I needed to due to the many complaints on shrinkage lint and fading. I had NO SHRINKAGE, MINIMAL LINT, NO FADING. Here's my experience:This is of VERY VERY good quality. I'm not sure why some say it's not??? GORGEOUS and true to size. I only wash in cold water delicate cycle and only fill my liquid soap to the MINIMUM level. After washing I air dry it for several hours until it's just slightly damp, then I AIR FLUFF ONLY in my dryer WITH NO HEAT AT ALL to catch the lint. I had ZERO issues with lint build up that others did. It was minimal / normal. I didn't have any color fading either. It's black so I was expecting some fading but there's absolutely NO FADING at all which is a huge bonus with black! So so impressed with this!I did NOT have any shrinkage WHAT SO EVER!!! As with all 100% cotton items, once you wash or dry with any sort of heat even low or extra low heat you will get shrinkage however, if you launder it like I did you should not get much shrinkage, if any at all. YES this process takes longer to launder, but it's well worth taking the extra time to ensure the quality, size and longevity of your blanket so it lasts for years to come. This is why I never let my husband who thinks all items are washed the exact same wash ANYTHING that's 100% cotton or important to me LOL!!! :) Sorry guys!I'm a VERY HOT sleeper and I'm so happy with this 100% cotton blanket as an extra layer with my lightweight quilt during the colder winter months in Canada and as a decorative throw blanket across the bottom of the bed during summer. It's the PERFECT WEIGHT and looks AMAZING!!! CLASSY DIAMOND PATTERN OF HIGH END QUALITY. It's not light weight but it's not too heavy either. It's a very good medium weight when paired with a quilt. Not cheap or thin. The quality is superb and that's so hard to find these days at this price point. I am extremely picky with bedding and this checks EVERY box for me! I can not say it enough!Very happy I took the chance on this. Will be purchasing many more to come.I hope my washing and drying tips are helpful to others looking to purchase 100% cotton items.THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE SELLER FOR AN AMAZING QUALITY PRODUCT!!!FROM AN EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER :)

Out of the package, it is beautiful and just what I wanted. It is the perfect weight for summer or for an added layer in winter. The design of the weave gives it a vintage look. It is hard to find cotton bedspreads like this, which is why I am keeping it.The good:*100% cotton *Perfect to add weight to your covers *Gives a smooth, retro look to the bed when it's made. The bad:*It sheds BAD in the drier *It shrinks when you wash it *The color fades in patchesI initially washed it (cold, mild detergent) per the instructions. I had to clean my dryer filter four times before it was dry. Had I not been watching, it could have overheated, possibly starting a fire. When I made the bed, you could see where the color leached out, almost like a reverse tie-dye. I really wanted it to work out so I washed it again, in deep water setting, on cold with no detergent, to see if it would all fade evenly. Again, it shed a ton through the drying process. When I made the bed a second time, I could tell the color had evened out and it wouldn't be noticeable to someone else. I wanted it as a bedspread and had I realized how much it would shrink, I would have purchased a King for my Queen bed. There is a discrepancy between the Amazon image and the product's packaging image. The Amazon picture shows it going to the floor. The packaging shows a shorter one, with a visible bedskirt or platform underneath. I had really hoped for a bedspread to get away from a bedskirt showing beneath.Overall, I needed it and I am willing to accept the negative. I want to let others know what to expect.

I bought this spread to use on my sofa instead of a bed. I have a very expensive leather sofa, and 3 new cats to the household. I've tried other throws made for sofas, and have had the "backing" deteriorate after a couple of years, found the throws too small and don't fit well, don't actually fully cover the sides and arm rests where the cats would scratch, and the way the products are designed, no way to hold the throws in place. So I went with the queen size spread - this product offered the longest length, 120", which was the same for both the queen and king sizes. My sofa is quite long, and my old queen size bed spread did not fully cover the length of the sofa. But at 120", this new spread works fine. Since I have no use for the extra large shams, I tucked these under the ends of the spread to fully cover down the sides of the arm rests.I wish the color came in a chocolate brown, which would have matched my original leather color. The taupe is a much lighter color than I preferred, but it was the compromise that I had to accept. The spread is thin and lightweight, but enough to protect my sofa from the cats running, jumping, and sleeping on it. It is wide enough that it drapes down the backside of the sofa, even when I tucked it in at the seats, so that sitting on it, or cats jumping on it won't pull it off. If you want to use this as a furniture throw and need the back fully covered, you may want to consider getting the king size. My sofa is up against a wall, so I didn't need it to fully cover the back, but there is enough fabric that it stays on the sofa during use.

I bought two of these spreads in grey for a pair of twin beds in our guest room. What's included:The twin size comes with one standard size pillow sham. The edges of the pillow sham are not "stiff" but in my opinion they are not "floppy" either.Look and Feel:The spreads have a soft, smooth hand and are very attractive. I do not understand why some reviews say that it has a "polyester" feel. There is nothing scratchy about the fabric and after having slept under it one night I can say that it is very "breathable". In fact, that is one reason I got cotton bedspreads rather than a comforter set; they are more comfortable. It just feels nice and not too heavy. I would compare it to the weight of a blanket.I have had other "matelasse" spreads that are not nearly as soft. This one is very nicely “quilted” or “cushioned" as the French definition of the word "matelasse" indicates. The woven fabric has a diamond weave in the cloth that is actually softer (my opinion) than many quilted fabrics that require more care and maintenance. The stitching of a quilt can be fragile often coming loose in the wash making machine washable and dry-able cotton matelasse the best option for me and I expect the feel of the cotton to get softer with each wash.Thickness and weight:It is thick enough so that minor sheet wrinkles should not show which is important to me. It is not as forgiving of bed-making errors as a comforter but still easy to use. I don't have time to spend on making sure you can bounce a quarter or that the hospital corners are razor sharp but I do want a neat, tidy looking bed that doesn't take hours to make and this works.Perfect Size:The spreads amply cover our the pillow top mattresses that have foam toppers. There is very little odor straight out of the package so you probably don't have to wash them at all. You might just hang them outside to air for an afternoon to freshen them before putting them on the bed but I am ticky and washed them.Shrinkage: I washed in cold water and dried on "fluff" setting and the shrinkage was less than one inch per side. The shrinkage is what you would expect with any 100% cotton piece. Please note that this is a bedspread that is long enough to cover the bed pillows. Some reviews have said it is "huge" but I think that the reviewer(s) may have tried to make the spread work like a comforter which would make it drag the floor on both sides and the foot of the bed.Styling:I would call the style "classic". I paired the spreads with 100% cotton blankets that were very close to the same color and added a white hotel pillow sham with grey satin stitching (that I already had on hand) and am thrilled with how they all look together even if the blankets (check out my photos and review on ) fall short of the softness of the spreads.Bottom Line:I would definitely recommend this set to a friend.
