This bedspread looks better in person than in the picture. It's very nice. The only complaint I have is that it smelled bad when I got it. After washing and airing out it's better. I'm hoping the odor will be completely gone soon. But it is a beautiful bedspread. It works for a Calif. split King up on a high adjustable frame. The Alaskan King goes just about down to the floor on three sides if you adjust it favoring one side of the bed.

We like the size, it is larger than I could have believed, and we're happy with that, due to our high bed. But does not look luxurious, looks like something you've had for years! Depends on what look you're looking for. No way you could ever wash this in a home washing machine or dryer. We are finding we like it, just not a luxurious look.

I needed a very large king-size coverlet and this one turned out to be perfect! I have also washed it twice and it comes out almost new every time! It is heavier than most matelasses that I have had in the past.

Way too big most king size covers work great on my queen sized bed. This was way too wide. I have a king in my guest room so used it there

It is soft and quite long enough. Unfortunately, the color on the photo was a light, creamy buttery yellow and the actual color was light brown. Not a bad color, just does not match with the bedroom very well. It's a beautiful, beautiful comforter.

I was having so much trouble with my old "King-sized" sheets and bedspread because they were too small to stay tucked in. If my wife cuddled up with the bedspread I was fighting to stay covered up. The Blythease Oversized King Bedspread (sometimes called Alaskan King size) is perfect! It looks great on the bed - just like a four-star hotel. The shams are nice too. There's a couple of other zippered covers which I think are for some accent pillows too (nice to have, but I'm not sure I'll use them). If you're looking for a top-notch bedspread and NOT a comforter then this needs to be on your list.

I have a king size bed that is tall. I wanted a quilt that covered the mattress. I had never heard of an “Alaskan king” size quilt. I read all the reviews and decided I wanted to order the gray quilt. Shipment was delivered as promised and I’m pleased with the quality. It will be several months before I have to wash it - hope to have minimal shrinkage.

Missing 1 sham and 1 pillow case. The pillow case I do have is a different color.
