If you look at the one I had in versus the Superior Pump you can see it's a much more slim design. Basically, I reversed everything as I took it out, then replaced all the same way. Actually relatively easy to do. I'm not a handy man, but this was in my wheelhouse

Great price for 1/2 horsepower sewage pump, easy to install but after 2 days the floater stopped working but called the company and had no problem sending me one. As of now 12/17/2022 still waiting for it, so can’t give anything of longevity.

Day one installed and love it. Quite and works great. Had to adjust float cord shorter but that was quick and easy. Hope it lasts for years. The ONLY con so far is Amazon shipping. it was NOT shipped box inside a box and could have been killed. It seemed to survive but just!I will edit this review if it fails. So far so good and thrilled for price and quality.

I bought the Superior pump as a replacement in a tight-fitting situation, based mostly on its specs. It was straightforward to install and worked first time. It was not only quieter than I expected but it pumped out our 70 Gal intermediate tank faster than our previous pump at an 18' head, so it exceeded its specs and ouir expectations.

Use this pump to replace our burnt out septic pump. Easy to install. Pump has been in service for a month. No problems. Price was half of what local stores charge, so thats a big bonus. Quick 3 day delivery to rural location. So far, very satisfied.

Had the pump in-use for 3 months in a pump basin for our French drains outside. The pump works great, and even cleared several small rocks through the line. Pumps fast through the 90ft of 2" PVC. Every now and then the pump wouldn't turn on and I'd see the basin overflowing with water. If I shook the pump or moved the power cords a little, the float switch would trigger and activate the pump. Wouldn't be a problem until a couple days later. I was past the amazon return period, so I emailed the manufacturer and they responded within an hour. He asked for the serial numbers and said that is not considered normal for the pump, and fed-ex'd a new float switch that day. Very impressed with that response. I expected to have to buy yet another pump, but rather have a fix and will definitely recommend this product! Very pleased!

This was a replacement for a 3/4 HP pump that got clogged. This was was significantly lighter and capacity was very close to the 3/4 and well over my normal use anyways.Easy to drop into the well since it's so light and you barely hear it when it's running. Keep in mind that the pump floating switch may not be in an ideal position when you install it in the well. For example, if you use the standard size well and drop the pump in dead center, it will certainly not leave enough free movement room for the switch. So you need to install the pump so that its almost against the wall OPPOSITE the pump float switch. This way you give enough room for the switch to move and go whichever was it wants. Very important! Never underestimate how much freedom the pump switch will need. Also, despite what you see in the photos or video on this product, there is NO intake screen. When you look at the pump intake from the bottom, you see just a large 1.5 or 2 inch hole—not a screen. I don't think this is an issue but just something to keep in mind if this is a selling point for you.
