We added a partial bathroom to the basement. I went with this option mainly for price, and got what I paid for. 2 of them, both garbage! The pump stopped working on the first one after about 2 months, and the second one had to be manually triggered after 2 weeks, and would not kick on automatically. Needless to say, you get exactly what you pay for, don't waste your time on these units. And no, nothing was put down the toilet except water and human waste.

I bought this macerator pump to help with drainage for a basement toilet, and it has been a game-changer! The 700W power is strong enough to handle everything effortlessly, and the noise level is much lower than I expected. I have a 750 Sq ft apartment in my daughter's basement. It is completely separate from everything else but lacked a bathroom. My son in law took small closet area. Built in the plumbing stuff then ran water lines. Since it is below grade we had to have macerator, or up flush toilet. We had one and it was very loud when running and quit after kids flushed metal car.When I saw this one it is a smaller size but just as powerful. I now have what would be referred to as half bath. When he completely put it together with lights, shelves, tile floor. I chose a sink that is larger and a tall faucet. While I do not cook whole meals it allows me the room to do whatever dishes I generate. This macerator has 3 openings that allow you to hookup sink, shower, and toilet. It a is noisy but not as bad as many I have checked out. With some insulation in walls would be even less noise. I would definitely recommend.

We wanted a bathroom in the center of our warehouse but did not want to tear up concrete. This solved our issue and has been working great since we installed a month ago. We just use it for a toilet and sink. This was a good solution for us. 5 STARS
