If you use regular fuses to diagnose low voltage shorts, you are a hack. Great value for the money. It’ll pay for itself in not wasting fuses.

Use this little circuit breaker instead of replacing fuse after fuse when you’re troubleshooting a low-voltage short. I use it on HVAC troubleshooting

Saves a load on fuses, but the switch takes a couple seconds to reset, saves time and your employer money

This is a must have for troubleshooting low voltage. The first time you run into a low voltage short you will appreciate this tool. Push button reset, easy plug into fuse slots on boards. No need to burn out transformers or blow through fuses.I have both the 3amp and 5amp. I really use the 3amp most. Even systems with 5amp fuses generally don't run higher than 3amps. I like to have both because I like to have the right tool for the job and I am guilty of being a tool collector. They are great quality. I have had my 5amp since around 2000 and only bought the new 3amp because the one I had bought in 2000 disappeared in a rough attic.Must have tool. Highly recommended.
