Pleasantly surprised at the build quality and the power of this tool for the dollars spent. Comfortable in the hand. Would prefer a front exhaust but did not find the rear exhaust that bad to deal with. I would give it a medium noise rating for an air tool of this size, but since all air tools are noisy I always wear ear protection. I've not had it for an extended length of time so can't comment on longevity of the tool. I would recommend it as a good to excellent home shop tool. Don't forget to oil it daily and it should last. I know they have "air tool oil" but I've always had the best luck using Marvel Mystery Oil in my air tools and have had excellent life spans on in expensive tools.

This die grinder works well and has very good build quality being made in Taiwan. I would recommend this grinder.

I purchased this knowing there's a muffler on it. My other air tool like this is so loud the guys in the shop I work at tell me to use their snap on one's just to spare their ears from ringing. This one is fantastic for poor first and second year automotive techs trying to build a decent tool set.

I don't need it often (2-3 times a week) but it works great. Fairly quiet compared to other cheap ones I've seen.
