Very powerful, but quite noisy but that's what you expect from a powerful motor. The exhaust is facing forward so the oil or moisture is not getting on your hand. The trigger is too bulky so if you cut on that side it will make the cutting disc go in at an angle, luckily you can turn the shield to the same side with the trigger and now you cut using the empty side. Overall if you want a powerful cutter then it's the one.

I use this primarily for metal working and spot weld grinding. It works flawlessly with the only complaint being that the air pressure adjustment isn't in the best location, but other than that 10/10.

This thing cuts really well, the guard may get in the way but I rather be safe than sorry. Wear some ear protection for prolong use, it gets loud.

What can say, nothing but best Ingersoll-Rand! Its the only brand, of air tools I have in my tool box. I had to replace, my same 326 cut off tool, not because it failed me, but I failed it by dropping it, 16 feet on to the floor and broke it. It was 18 years old. Note; I work my tools hard, I buy tools to make money! 35+ years as a class 6-8 truck dealer tech. (keeping rolling) Some one is waiting, on a truck to deliver something.

The only caveat to my review is that I use this thing as a handyman and a car nut, so it doesn't see a lot of action. But when it does see action it always performs great. I've never had a problem with this product and I absolutely love Ingersoll-Rand's complete tool line of professional quality tools at the right price.

Well built tool. Good feel. Works well to cut off half inch steel tubing. Need eye and ear protection. Will also need 3 inch cut off disks (not at Home Depot). Try Grainger. MFR rec 2 7/8 inch disks. Hard to find. 3 inch works just fine.
