To prolong the life of your Cholla wood in your pet’s habitat, we recommend soaking it either in saltwater solution or in vinegar and water solution for at least an hour.

Post that, either sun dry it for 24 hours or bake it at the lowest temperature till you notice all the moisture has evaporated.

You can't really prop these up in the tank for the gecko to climb on, they're too small. Would be ok for a small leopard gecko only.

These are very sturdy and go perfect with my desert landscape. My leopard gecko loves to lay on them in one spot! I like buying natural products when I can, so these were a good addition.

So they arrived and I was surprised to see that they were tiny (not tiny but smaller than expected) So I checked with a ruler right away. And I was surprised to see that they all are 5 inches in length one way or another. Some are slightly thicker than others, but they are mostly pretty thin (around 3/4 in to and inch) I would say since you get 6 in the pack, it is worth it to buy. They look pretty clean (as in no mold) they do have some dirt so you will need to boil these. I think they will work for what I needed them for. It is not very sheer, but the holes are pretty clear and I would bet that after a good long boil you could see through the holes.
