These look nicely made but I wanted to connect 3/4" PEX to 3/4" PVC and the PVC is much too large to fit. I glossed over that PVC wasn't listed for these and that is why. I had the well plumbing disconnected and had to get it going that day, fortunately the local hardware store had Sharkbite connectors for that specific use and all was "well".

They work and are at a much better price than the big box stores.

Push Lock fittings like Sungator or Shark Bite really speed and simplify plumbing installations. I'll never go back to attempting to solder wet lines. Two features are especially useful - the fact that joints can be rotated after assembly and stay locked and water tight is wonderful for fitting is tight, boxed in spaces. The provided disassembly tool is valuable when you haven't planned quite enough working space, giving you room to reassemble where you have more workspace super valuable.Sungator requires use of reinforcing inserts on PEX tubing which slightly increases the force required to assemble, but you can't complain about the price or performance.

Needed to splice a yard irrigation line I pierced with a fence rod. Got them to fit. Did the job and didn't have to go searching at Lowes or Home Depot. Lower price than Shark brand. Awesome

I recently used the UNGATOR 1/2" Push PEX 90 Degree Elbow Fittings to replace a leaking elbow joint in my plumbing system, and they worked like a charm. These fittings are incredibly easy to install—no tools or soldering required! Just push them into place, and they create a tight, leak-proof seal. The no-lead brass construction feels solid and durable, and the 90-degree angle was perfect for redirecting water lines in a tight space. I tested the connection after installation, and it held up flawlessly under pressure with no leaks or issues. These fittings are a lifesaver for DIYers or anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of traditional plumbing methods. I’ll definitely keep a few extras on hand for future projects. Highly recommended for quick repairs and professional-quality results!

-Ideal for small scale plumbing jobs, very quick and easy to assemble. Added Bonus works with PEX, copper pipe and CPVC. Once you are "addicted" to how easy this is, your days of sweating pipe (soldering) may be behind you, especially in locations that soldering is difficult.-With the proper tool(s) these fittings can be disassembled / reassembled. This is an advantage over glued (CPVC) joints that basically need to be cut out.-Alignment is very easy, for these 90 degree fittings, once "pushed on", they can be rotated into position.- Price point is quite good: that said these push connectors are one of the more expensive ways to do retrofit plumbing, but saying that, time matters also, and for some locations these add quickness and flexibility . In my situation, the house water supply valve (copper pipe) leaks by a small amount when shut. A "T" a few inches downstream of teh valve had a small leak. With this leakby re-sweating the joint (soldering) or soldering on a new fitting was impossible without isolating the "cities" street isolation. One of these Push fittings worked perfectly even as water leaked into it. Therefore this repair was quick and easy.recommendations:Get a depth tool, so you can mark the pipe to ensure it is fully seated.Get a better tool for disassembly than the plastic "C" provided.. The "C" works if you have plenty of hand strength (my younger son could do it) in my 60's the "better tool" is much easier for me. In fact I leave a plastic "C" clipped on the pipe I just assembled so I always can find this tool (Even for connections I have drywalled over)This kit came with NO instructions, I did not need them, but be advised if you are using these on PEX, make sure to use the (included) inserts to prevent the PEX pipe from collapsing.Over time I have bought 3 "SUNGATOR" push to connect "kits" all 3 kits came in what could be a handy plastic case, all 3 plastic cases were cracked and in various states of being broken.. That said I didn't buy these "kits" for the plastic cases but these cases would be nice to store unused parts in.

Worked great on Sharkbite pipe and also Iplex pipe but doesnt work on brass/copper tubing. This is the reason for the 3 stars. It is worth getting if you have plastic style pipe as it is easy to push fit the pipes. Well priced fittings.
