Sizes are a bit small, not built for bulkier cats. Length was good but the girth was not. This didn't have velcro, but button snaps along the back. I didn't like that since my cat figured out that she could flex them enough to pop them open and was able to get out of the suit enough to lick her wound. It resisted her licking the outside of the material, but the buttons failed to keep the suit secure. The material itself was elastic and soft, making it comfortable against my cat's skin, but it was a little too tight around her belly.

This cat recovery suit is very stretchy and has lightweight material which is easy to clean. It was a little tough to get on my cat just because she's a cat and didn't like clothing on her but once it was on her it fit her well I got her the small size.
