It helps my cat with his anxiety as he sometimes overdoes his cleaning session so we bought this to help him stop Grooming himself excessively as he has experimented a lot of fur loss. It stretches well and isn’t too tight.

Our poor little cat was spayed on Thursday and the vet put a plastic cone on her head to protect the incision. She was really struggling with it all weekend - she was lethargic, hanging her head, not interacting....she just seemed miserable. We took the cone off on Monday and put on this onesie instead. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It took her just 5 or 10 minutes to get used to it and then she was tearing around the house, playing and largely back to herself. The difference in her demeanor was amazing!The fabric on this item is nice and stretchy and the medium size fit our 7-month-old tabby perfectly. Even better, she is able to use the litter box (both #1 and #2) without making a mess of the onesie. After 24 hours, she seems perfectly happy and at home in her new outfit.Get the cone off and get a couple of these. Your pet will love you for it.

I find it’s not quite long enough for some cats torso wise, but it kept my kitties from bothering their incisions! Definitely worth it!

We bought these for our cat when she had a skin condition and wouldn't stop over-grooming herself. It took a while working with our vet to figure out the issue, so in the meantime this (and a neck collar) did the job to keep her from making things worse. Easy to wash, fairly durable, and most importantly she couldn't get out of them. Definitely helped us get through that!

This was a great buy for our spayed kitty! The material was breathable and while my vet actually advised against it, I found it really helped protect the incision site from her licking but also during her movement. It’s hard to keep a cat from jumping and running around - we did our very best - but this helped immensely. The cone was too heavy for her head and actually made her a bit clumsy which caused irritation to the incision. When we swapped the cone for the surgery suit, we immediately noticed she was more comfortable, but also able to move with ease. We put it on day 3 post surgery and kept it on for 15 days. Her incision healed BEAUTIFULLY - no signs of infection, irritation, air was definitely getting to the incision and she was much happier.

The sizing is definitely off! It’s a great thing I read the reviews before buying one, my kitten is 4lbs and I got her a small after she got spayed. She got out of it right after I put it in her due to the chest portion being a little more stretchy, so she just slid her paws out. I did end up putting a harness on over the recovery suit and that does the trick! She acts like she hates me but it’s better then her wearing an E collar. It’s very soft, stretchy and she has been sleeping in both the harness and the suit fine

I bought this onesie for my cat who, in her old age, has started excessively licking her stomach. I started with a pink medium - it was very tight on her, even though she's only 6 lbs. She's also very long haired, and thus fluffy, so I figured maybe that was the issue with the medium. Then I went and bought two larges, one purple and one blue. The blue fits mostly well (does have a bit of slack in some areas of her body), and she (most importantly) appears comfortable in it. The purple one? Forget it. It was FALLING off her. Completely unwearable.Gave this 2 starts because it's very soft and stretchy with a good design that doesn't get any urine/poop on it, but if it doesn't fit her and I can't figure out what size to buy, what's the point?

I am so very disappointed. My cat is having surgery on the 16th and she is only 4 months old. It was suggested by a friend of mine whose cat is also going to have surgery but she has not ordered this yet. I purchased a small, and a medium bc my cat would not sit still for the measuring and I needed something to come in fast so I could test the product and have her get used to it before the surgery date came (so there would be less trauma). The small was too small, so I tried to return it. It was too tight on her and the collar would stretch and make its way down to her chest, then down to her front legs then come off of her. The medium came in but when I opened it they gave me a large instead by mistake. I liked the Christmas colors so I tried to reorder the medium in the Christmas suit only to find it would not arrive in time.So I ordered the medium in gray which came in yesterday. We where thrilled! Because to us it seemed to work and it was fitting her! She was moving comfortably although she wanted to mostly sleep with the suit on. However, the whole day we noticed the front collar would stretch wider and wider. We had to keep pulling it up on her, eventually she was lying in my lap, a sleeping on her side, the collar made its way down towards her front legs and in her sleep all she did was stretch and her legs popped out of the front leg wholes and out the front neck collar. She slept on not noticing she was half way out of her suite. She then woke up and just walked right out of it. Now I know what your thinking right? I must have had the wrong size? Remember they sent me a large by accident. Knowing the large would be too big but desperate and wanting to be thorough, I then put the large on my 4 month old kitten. She is now half the size of my adult American shorthair that the large would fit. Sure enough she was swimming in it and it fell off because it was too big. So let’s recap here. Small too tight and falls off bc it’s too tight. No complaints there. Medium fits perfectly but has a defective design where the front collar is too stretchable and while sleeping or siting makes its way down to the front legs eventually. Large is too big but if I put it on my adult cat it fits her very well but same design flaw happens. I’m glad I tested this out before leaving my cat alone with stitches. God knows what could have happened even while I was sleeping.Don’t waist your money on this and find your self one with an adjustable collar. If you decide to get this anyway and your cat is going to have surgery I Implore you to at least get this several weeks in advance to test it out first for 24 hours. You don’t want to find yourself scrambling around like I am doing now, trying to find another solution or worst case scenario find out this dose not work post surgery. I am warning my friend today who thought this would be a great idea, and sent me the link to this direct product/seller not to use it or at least not from this company.
