These are excellent! I got them to keep my 10 and 7 year old busy when they needed something to do. Turns out, they chose to make giant paper airplanes and draw huge pictures for hours! I’m also the kind of person who has a million thought throughout the day and a constant list of things I need to do or buy. I stick a sheet on the wall and keep a physical running tab of all these things throughout the day. Is it absolutely necessary? No. But it’s incredibly convenient for people like me and children who enjoy art!

We homeschool and use a similar product from a name brand a lot! I decided to give these a try to see how they compared. I will say I was actually very surprised how good these were. I added some pictures comparing them to a product we had that we have used a lot and I was almost out of. The color of the paper is actually more of a real white than the competitor. They tear very easily out of the book, like so easy I could do it with one hand from the bottom of the sheet. So that is a nice design to make it easy to remove them. I let my kids color on these on the window a lot so I tested them to see if marker would leak through them. It didn’t at all and wasn’t any different than the other product we had. Besides the slight color difference of the paper, the only real difference I could find was the adhesive “sticky” back. The name brand was quite a bit stickier, but not enough to be a deal breaker for us. This product still held up great on the window and the wall. Overall I’m highly impressed with these and would purchase again! Also they were packaged great and even had cardboard over the corners to make sure they didn’t get smashed and bend.

I'm learning to draw/paint and want to try some larger scale sketching. I'm also designing a very large (5x4 feet) mixed media project and it's pretty hard to do that in an 8x12 inch sketch pad. These easels are just what I was looking for!The paper is medium weight and good quality. I tested a Sharpie(TM) marker, acrylic paint pens, metallic acrylic paint pen, and a good ol' #2 pencil, and they all marked smoothly without bleed through. The Sharpie(TM) did go through to the back in places where I paused or pressed hard, but didn't mark the underlying sheet at all.The adhesive is Just Right. It's a reasonably wide strip and stuck securely to a kitchen counter edge, a TV screen, painted lightly textured drywall, and a dirty glass window. The sheets rip off the pad smoothly and evenly. There are three predrilled holes in the top binding (not in the paper); one smallish one in the center and two larger ones near the sides, so the pad is easy to hang up. The back cardboard is firm enough so I can write/paint energetically without problems, and the whole pad is light enough that it's easy to handle for this elderly woman.I really like these large easel pads, and highly recommend them. They do a simple job and do it extremely well -- you can concentrate on what you're writing or painting without having to pay attention to the paper. No Technical Difficulties is a high bar, and these easel pads meet it.

The descriptions are a bit confusing as to how many sheets there are. It is only 30 sheets per pad with 4 pads for a total of 120 sheets. Each sheet is thick enough where the markers we used did not bleed through. It would be hard to use both sides since you can still see the markings on the other side. It was easy to tear off cleanly and easy to paste it against the wall like a post it note. We left it on the wall for over a week and it did not leave any markings. I peeled it off and stuck it on somewhere else. These are great for art projects and being able to hang and display it temporarily on the walls. When drawing on near the top part where the sticky stuff is on the other side, the markers did not go on very well. Best to use it a few inches below the top when using markers.

I have been using these as target backers at the range. Our target boards get pretty torn up, and it's hard to see your bullet hole outside of the smaller paper targets to make corrections. I tack up one of these, and then attach my target or sticker, and it gives me a bit more room for error. The paper is heavy enough to cut clean holes, but it really isn't heavy enough to stand on it's own. You will need cardboard or a backer to make it stand up.I really like the easel pad shape because it lays flat, and it is self contained. I've used paper rolls, also but they had a tendency to want to roll back up. These work better for me.

These are the equivalent of large sticky notes, and for the most part are great - the paper is quite bright versus newsprint pads and worked well in preventing bleed. However, the area where the adhesive is tends to interfere with water based inks with most of it beading up on the surface.

These pads are HUGE!! Metric measurements are not my strong point, so when I opened the package and saw the size, I went YIKES!! After the initial shock wore off, my mind went wild. I cut a sheet down to fit on my craft table and put it to the test. I used paint pens, glitter glue, Sharpee's, watercolors, water and alcohol ink on this paper. No bleed through at all. It did buckle a little bit where I sprayed water, but it is not watercolor paper, so that is to be expected. I am going to keep a sheet on my craft table to doodle on and to protect the glass top. I am liking the size of the sheets the more I play with the pad. You get 4 HUGE pads with 30 sheets per pad for a total of 120 sheets of paper. That is value for money. The paper quality is great. It is thicker than regular copy paper. I am not planning on doing any presentations, but I can certainly see that these pads would work great. The adhesion is great. I stuck a sheet on my living room wall last night, and it was still stuck on the wall this morning. This would be a great product for elementary kids to make art projects. If you have little ones in your home, you could put these on the kids walls to avoid art projects ending up on your nicely painted walls. I am sure as time goes on, I will continue to find out of the box use for these easel sheets. I am sure you will be happy with your purchase.
