The paper is smooth, easy to tear and has a good size sticky band on it. The band holds to the wall…though the wall we have is matte finish so I cannot speak to how it works with another finish. These work great for travel, an office without white board or just to have in the home. They’re fun!!! I think the quality, quantity and value align.

You get what you pay for. I should’ve gone with 3M. Sticks for only a couple of minutes and then falls off the wall. Doesn’t help when trying to teach.

We hosted a solve-a-mystery game party for my daughter’s class. It was nice knowing that they could use the easel we had the board clipped to, or put the paper on the wall if they so chose. Or later, we could bring the pad to the table so they could draw on it with markers. It’s so all purpose.The paper is slightly glossy. I’m happy to report, as a person who is sensitive to paper differences, this didn’t negatively affect the writing or drawing. I am not a business person, nor buy for businesses. I’m a home consumer. Over $15 per pad when bought in a park of 3 seems high to me. Maybe for a single pad. With three I would expect more of a price break.

These easel pads are so useful in my homeschool space. We don't have room for large whiteboards and permanent wall displays so I end up having to make a bunch of anchor charts that stay up for a few days and then get replaced as we learn something new. These pads work great for that use. The paper is thick enough that I can use even alcohol markers on them without totally destroying the sheet behind the one I'm working on. They stick to anything because their adhesive is strong and applied in a thick band but it still removes cleanly without messing up my wall paint. The size is great for elementary school subjects and also for my daughter to draw on. The only caveat I have is that these kinds of paper pads cost so much. It's across the board in all of the different brands so it's not just this one but my goodness chart paper is pricey.

I got these because my family - of all ages - love to play old school drawing/guessing games.We've gone through so many easle with dry erase boards and chalk boards over the years, that I can't keep count.A few months ago, my husband used some scrap wood in his wood shop to make us sturdy double-sided easel. He added some heavy duty clips at the top and we thought we were ready for game-night season (winter months).On Thanksgiving, we got it out and the boys (fully adult men) readied for Round 1.The clips we had on it couldn't hold up to the rigorous activity of competitive men feverishly scribbling stick figures. Papers kept falling, curses kept flying and we finally gave up.A week before Christmas, I was contemplating our options when I saw this come up.I looked it over, ran outside to take measurements of the easle and immediately ordered it.New Year's Eve, we got out the easle again. This time, each side had new-and-improved clamps, and these pads.I asked them to be judicious with the space they used, but it wasn't necessary because these are SO spacious, we were able to get about five rounds out of each page.They didn't shift or fall. Stayed put.It got me thinking to our agency's annual New Year retreat, where we talk about our goals for the coming year. We usually draft a mission statement.One of these pads would be perfect for that process, during the brainstorm session. You can use technology all day long, but for whatever reason, it seems like folks prefer seeing their ideas being written on paper for all to see, lol.The paper is thick enough to withstand dragging a marker across it without tearing.The backing, which is cardboard, is thick.The top binding is secure enough to withstand the tearing away of the pages when you want to stick them to a wall or such.And yes, the temporary adhesive DOES still pretty well to a wall (your mileage may vary, depending on your wall covering).I am really happy with these and really happy I found them.The price point is more than fair and make them a value for a family or non-profit on a budget :)
