Put this to the test on an AGM ATV battery. The ATV hadn’t been run in just over three months and when I put it on a tester it showed 45 percent charge and 11.7 volts. Hooked it up to this panel on a mostly sunny day and just over six hours later the battery tested out at 100 percent and 12.7 volts. Topped the battery off much faster than I expected. It’s a nice, compact and durable panel, with both several mounting options and various clips/terminals to attach it to whatever you want to charge. Glad I picked it up.

Nicely constructed solar panel with a SAE style plug system on it that has a lot of options for connecting to a 12v battery. Either through the 12v outlet (cigarette lighter port) or with alligator clips to the battery terminals directly. This has some LED status lights in the module on the back that give an indication on whether or not its connected to the battery and whether or not its getting enough sun for output. This panel is low wattage, which means it would be a trickle charger style flow at best, so that is exactly what it is meant for. The suction cups went into the grommets pretty easily, and feel secure enough to not just fall out. The panel is slightly flexible so suctioning it to curved windows of the car would work nicely. This trickle kit seems to be working pretty well so far at maintaining a truck battery that has a known parasitic loss, and its been starting strong since installing it.

This solar trickle charger comes with the 10 watt panel itself, Alligator clip connector cables, ring terminal connector cables, standard connector cable, both suction cup and small carabiner mounting hardware. The solar panel ha a built-in charge controller and three status lights on the back that tell you if the panel is getting sunlight, charging the device it is connected to, or has stopped charging because the device's battery is full. The panel works well and kept our batteries topped-off in our testing. The panel is 10 watts so it will work well to keep current charge levels and will take a long time to charge a battery if it is greatly discharged. We would recommend this solar panel kit.Overall I believe it is of good value for the cost. As always I will evaluate long term and update with any new information

I got this as a float charger for my car, which I park for the winter. I checked the panel's output voltage, which was 12.4 volts on a cloudy day. The car battery was topped, and it started right away. After a month of single-digit night low temperatures, it was fine. 10 Watts is enough to maintain the levels on a healthy battery.

Am using this solar charger to maintain charge on my travel trailer battery while stored at a storage facility. So far so good, with the caveat that the battery switch is off, avoiding any parasitic or unexpected draining from the camper, as I’m not sure this charger is large enough to handle much more than maintaining a base charge.

This appears to be a very well-built solar panel.I was initially concerned it might be too flexible for my use-case.After receiving it, I think it will work really well.In the Spring, this will be installed on top of the front A/C unit on my RV.There is an original solar panel there now but is 2005 technology. This new panel runs circles around the old one with the power output.I am hoping I can reuse the existing wiring. The RV is stored in a garage so I am not able to test the efficiency of the panel at this time. The specs are impressive for the size and cost. This is to keep a trickle charge going in the battery bank to keep them from running low. They are not designed to run all your 12V needs in the RV.I am looking forward to getting this installed in the Spring and testing it out on my first boondock trip.

The materials feel solid and of good quality. It is easy to manipulate. I will be using it primarily on my lawn mower battery, which tends to be really low in the spring. The instruction manual was clear, actually better than I expected. I was able to hook this op on one of the few sunny days we've had recently. I got lights right away, and the charging went as expected. I did not attempt to start the mower, as I haven't replaced the oil yet, but a volt meter confirmed that the battery is charged. The panel comes with three different kinds of connector, which are easily attached to the panel. There are suction cups and d-ring style clips to hold the panel in place while the battery charges.

Setting this up in my truck, which usually sits idle for a month or two at a time, was pretty simple. I opted for the cigarette lighter adapter, and at first, I was not getting any lights from the panel. What I discovered was that my battery was already a little dead, so don't try to hook this up to a dead battery.Once I charged my battery up, plugging it back in, I was finally able to get a solid light on the panel. I assume it's working fine now, and in a month or two, we will be able to see the results. The panel construction is very sturdy but light, and using the included suction cups, they attached easily to the front window.
