I ordered this hat for the months ahead. I've been looking for a floppy, wide-brim hat for our warm summers. It was especially important to me to get one that contains high UPF protection. Two of my friends recently have been diagnosed with skin cancer in their scalps. When the hat arrived, I did have to pop it back into shape. That took about a day. Now I'm all set for sun and surf.

- The hat is a bit too small/tight on my head. It says it is supposed to fit head with a 22.83"-23.62" circumference, but mine is about 22" and it is still tight.- I don't love how tall/deep the hat is; it makes it a little less flattering and sometimes squishes my ears a little.- It has a removable and adjustable chin strap, although the hard plastic clips are really difficult to open, so it's not as easy of a transition from strap to no strap as I'd hoped.- The belt around the hat is not adjustable or removable. The end also sticks out a bit. I might cut it. The material of the belt is pretty cheap-looking, but overall it does add a nice touch to the hat.- It's nice that it folds/rolls up sort of, although it does make the brim pretty wavy. The brim is slightly stiff so it would be hard to make it flat, but you probably could.- I'm not sure whether I will keep this or not. I think $15 is a bit too much for what this is and how average the quality is, but that's just me. I was just hoping it would be a bit more flattering. But it fits enough that I can still use it as a gardening hat or something. But since it is tight, the band might leave a red mark on my forehead...

“Sun Hats for Women, UV Protection Summer Beach Hats, Womens Packable Straw Sun Hat for Travel”My wife ordered this sun hat. It looks very cute on her, although it doesn’t really look like the pictures in the listing. The brim is not as straight and more floppy. She actually prefers this look over a straight brim though so it works well for her.It came rolled up in a cylinder, so there is a heavy crease where the hat was folded in half. Hopefully, the crease will come out over time, or the listing says that a steamer will get it out.The material seems to be of pretty high quality and thick, but it’s 90% paper, so I’m not sure how it will hold up if it gets wet.It has a drawstring on the inside. This is how they make it “one size fits all”. However, my wife has thick hair, so the hat is a little small on her and the drawstring isn’t needed for her, but it’s a nice feature to have.

I have always loved hats like these, but have had trouble finding one that fits and looks cute - This one fits the bill. There is a drawstring inside to make it smaller, though I personally don't need it. My head is decently large, so I'm pleased that this one fits. It's not stiff, but not floppy either. It can roll up so it doesn't take up much space in a suitcase. It's comfortable, and feels like it has a bit of stretch to it, so I can wear it even with a ponytail. The dome is a good size, too, not overly long or short. The brim is wide enough to block the sun from my face, but not block my vision. Overall, this was a great find.

Picked this up for my wife who is a fan of the hat. It shipped rolled up so does take just a smidge of effort to get any crease lines out of it.When on it gives good coverage...almost could be just a bit wider for more coverage but not a deal breaker.Perfect for the future sunny days in the summer!

This hat came neatly folded into a narrow box. When I opened it, the hat unfolded easily. I thought after a few days the creases would fall out, but they didn’t. So I took it over to a pot of lightly boiling water on the stove and gently steamed the creases out - and Voila! There are several YouTube videos showing how it’s done if you need them, and it only took 2-3 minutes.I like the size of this hat - not too floppy or wide and a pleasant addition to keep the sun out of my eyes when sitting al fresco for lunch, coffee or cocktails. It has an adjustable inside headliner in case I’d like to tighten the fit for my head, as well as a removeable chin strap for windy days, cycling, or letting the hat hang behind my back when drinking a coffee. In all, this is a lovely hat at a good value.

I love this sun hat. It looks great with a rich looking band and beautiful natural colors. It fits perfectly but can be adjusted if need be. There is a strap that is detachable that goes under the chin for windy days. I didn't like the way it was packaged because there were some wrinkles in the material but I was able to steam them away. I think if I was going to travel with it I would fold it very carefully to avoid wrinkles. The price is great and I'm very pleased.

This is a nice, well made straw type hat that has a good wide brim. It fit my head well, and my head is smallish. It will definitely keep the sun off. It came rolled up and opened up well, so I guess it’s packable. I never trust a hat like this to keep its shape for long if packed a lot. It’s pretty affordable, but as it’s actually made of a type of paper, do not get it wet.
