My plumber told me this would help keep clogs from forming, it’s safe for septic tanks and disposals,, and it keeps the drains fresh.. I like it..

I've used DrainOut indifferent versions for a couple of years now. I use it in my bathtub drain four ounces once a week, and I haven't had any drain slowdowns during that time. It uses bacterial enzymes instead of the caustic chemicals in traditional drain cleaners, so it's easier on the pipes and not as dangerous to have around the house.

Home Depot stopped carrying this product and it works extremely well keep my kitchen drain free and clear. Smells good too! Great for the environment! I will order again.

I like the citrus based cleaners because in my home soap and contaminets caught in the soap are the primary concern. This product works well. One tip for those with stubborn clogs, including washer drains, is to mix it 50/50 with boiling water. Let it sit about 5 minutes, not longer, and then flush with hot or boiling water.
