The role of plant mesh:
Plant trellis netting is commonly used to support vining plants such as beans, watermelons, squash, eggplants and gourds. By attaching the grid mesh to a frame or post and forming a net-like support above the plants, the plants can grow upward along the grid, avoiding spreading to the ground and taking up more space, as well as allowing for easier management and harvesting.

Not what I expected, thought I was getting plastic netting instead of material.

Would have preferred it to be much stronger-very light weight. I hooked onto my raised planter for peas and it worked but stronger would have been better.

Should be $6. $14 is too high

I used this for my cucumber plants so that the plant would go up instead of sprawling on the ground

I cut my net in half as I have a small area indoors. My tomato plants are much happier clipped to the net which was easy to mount using zip ties. The net has approximately 4-inch squares that appeal to my snow pea plants as well. They are intertwining back and forth through the netting which appears to be made of a nylon rope. It doesn't stretch and it keeps its shape. My tomato plants are approximately 4 ft high and flowering and don't expect any weight issues regarding the net.

I used these nets to give my beans something to climb and something I could tether my tomato plants to. Worked exactly how I needed. Survived from spring to fall and there is no hint of it degrading so I’m sure I’ll be able to use it for another season (or a few).

This netting is pretty cheaply made, a little difficult to work with but it does the job it is intended for. For the low price, I'd say it's worth what I paid for it. Would not likely purchase again.
