This netting works pretty well. It is heavier than I thought it would be. That’s probably a good thing. Make sure you have a sturdy framework to drape it and pin it too. I saved mine and washed it. I’m gonna use it this summer.

I got this to cover my raised bed because some critter kept eating my melons. This helped keep the critter out, but it also stopped pollinators from getting in so it cut down on the melons I could have had. I had to take it off from time to time to let pollinators in.

Great product, fine enough that bugs don’t get in but enough light does. This allowed my plants to grow without being destroyed by the grasshoppers first. Netting held up well and was pretty durable

Never had a bird problem in my previous home garden. However at my new home, the birds destroyed my newly emerged green bean plants. I was becoming quite depressed about it until I saw all the comments about row covers. If you are having issues with birds, this is the answer. You won't be sorry in the investment. Sturdy, durable and pretty certain these will give me years of protection!

I do not use any insecticides or poison in my garden. I garden organically. So when I started losing battles with the bugs, deer, and rabbits that were eating my plants, I needed to come up with a way to protect my flowers and produce. This netting works perfectly. I Simply drape it over the plants that I want to protect. Leaving the netting on overnight and removing it in the morning protects the plants from the deer. Draping the plants on the days of, and during the times in which there are heavy bug infestation, and then removing it later in the day, does the job of protecting the plants from insects. Once I started doing this, I started winning those battles!

Likes: This netting is made with nice quality material so it won't tear easily, but I was able to cut with scissors with no problem. It's tough enough to keep birds and deer away from fruits and veggies. Water will penetrate the material. Dislikes: it's too thick for my raised garden beds. It's too much of a thick material to secure it down with clips. Even my husband looked and said the same thing and he knows nothing about the garden 😆 After I spent a good hour trying to secure the netting I was able to water and fertilize through the netting only to see all kinds of moths, nats and other insects in the netting the next day! Grrr! Also, when securing the netting on the hoops, if i had to remove the clamp the indention made a whole that insects could get thru. I will be replacing with a thinner netting that is easier to handle and secure to keep insects away from my veggies. Summary: This is a good quality fabric, but just not for a raised bed where the netting has to be secured with clips on the lip of the bed.

I bought this cover mesh to stop the squirrels from digging out the garlic that I plant late fall. I bought the mesh oversized so that I could buy or fabricate hoops that I can attach to the side of my raised beds. It worked so far the squirrels have not tried to dig up the garlic. It is much easier to handle than the deer mesh I used in the past. It will store easily if I decide to pull it off as the garlic gets higher in the late spring early summer. I’m glad I bought it and I’d recommend it as well.

Product was a good weight and as described. My raised bed is 4’ x 8’ and lengthwise there was lots extra using about 6 to 7’ pvc pipe.

worked well as a garden cover to protect newly planted seeds and seedlings from being eaten by backyard critters, harmful insects and slugs.
