The assembly was hard for me and it could only cut little twigs and would get stuck in branches it could clearly cut and then it fell apart, the pre-assembled part. Also, doesn’t have a sliding end for more accurately getting the scissor of the toy around the branch. The rope is very weak in general. Thankfully, I was able to return it.

This was the best price for one of these and it works very well. I don't know why some reviewers say the pieces are hard to put together? They screw into one another easily and very sturdy to change the length of the pole.
