This mat was perfect for us and our grandchildren and dogs. I feel like a whole lot less dirt made it's way into the camper using this mat. It seems durable and it was easy to clean with the garden hose when we get back home.

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet!Looks of good quality from taking it out of the package!Carry bag is nice and big for ease of storage!A little pricey at $150.00 + taxes!Impressed with the size!I’ve had other versions of these woven plastic mats and they worked well!No reason why this one shouldn’t be the same!

Nice, light weight, matt. Does a good job, and water doesn’t hurt it.

Used it this weekend with our new travel trailer and the colour matches our new trailer. My wife picked it out and we couldn’t be happier.

We purchased this patio mat for our Chinook Concourse motorhome and we are very pleased with the quality and durability of the mat. By far the best quality outdoor mat we have purchased, and we have owned several for home patio and RV patio use. This mat is thicker than many of the other mat choices currently available. The size of 9 feet X 18 feet is the most generously sized mat we found for under $71.00. The colors are bright and the photos match what was delivered. The short (9 foot) sides are beautifully finished with a matching blue canvas binding that is stitched around the corners and up the longer sides by several inches to ensure there will be no unraveling of the weave. The longer (18 foot) sides have a selvage edging that also ensures there will be no unraveling. The mat came fan-folded which makes storage convenient when loading up the motorhome. The storage bag is made from black rip-stop nylon with a draw string / push clip closure. There is also a web strap handle sewn onto the storage bag. The nylon bag is thin, but it does cover the entire mat with plenty of room to cinch the bag closed. We keep the bag / mat inside our motorhome when not in use to prolong the life of the mat and the bag.We LOVE that the mat and storage bag can be hosed off after every camping trip.UPDATE: After using this mat on many camping trips we decided that the 9’ X 18’ size is too big for windy weather situations - we primarily camp at beach campgrounds. The mat has turned into a giant sail on more than one occasion even with the corners weighted down securely. Our solution was to cut the mat in half so that we now have 2 9’ X 9’ rugs. No more giant sail problem, and one person can fold and unfold the smaller size with ease. We now have 2 rugs that make our patio set up more versatile. The exposed cut edges MUST be covered or the rug will unravel. We purchased boating canvas binding from Sailrite to finish off the cut exposed edges. We hot glued the exposed cut edges first. Hot glue was also the best way to secure the canvas binding to the rug, which has held up very well. The fix is a lot of work, but was the best solution for us.

4YR UPDATE:We’re full timers so we use this mat every day. Our first one is starting to look pretty worn out but it’s held up very well. The second one was purchased about 2yrs ago and is still going. Just know they don’t last forever if left out in the sun 24/7, but I still recommend! I love that it is large enough to cover my area without having to use two rugs together and the style of it matches the design of my RV well. The rug is surprisingly soft under my feet but the black does get hot when it’s directly in the sun. I live in FL so I expect that this mat will eventually start breaking down and coming apart due to how our harsh weather affects plastic, but I expect it will hold up a long time. I honestly wouldn’t mind replacing it once every few years because the price is very reasonable. It seems to be well made and I like that it is reversible. I would advise that it may not hold up to rowdy children or a large dog because it could possibly become snagged (see photo of how it separates) but I think it’s pretty durable. It has definitely updated our living space and I would recommend it for sure. You can also find other designs by this brand if you prefer a more traditional look, other colors, etc. My mat is not quite 9’x18’, it’s actually a bit smaller when I measured it. It dries very quickly and cleans up easily. My main reason for buying this rug was that it does not roll up soaking wet and dirty like woven fabric style rugs and it is much lighter. Overall very good buy, highly recommend!

We bought the 9' x 18'. It is lightweight enough for one person to carry. When breaking camp, any dry dirt will fall through the open weave. Damp dirt needs a broom or shaking. The mat is light years better than the astro-turf that came with our 10-yr-old travel trailer.Laid out, this mat is great! I love the contemporary swirl pattern, and the mat makes concrete and gravel sites comfy. On our first trip with this mat, we laid it out such that a corner of the concrete pad for the picnic table was underneath the middle of the mat. To prevent people stubbing their toes on the hidden concrete corner, I placed two soft dive weights on the mat over the concrete corner (one could use any anchor that visually and physically blocks off the dangerous area). I also used more soft dive weights as patio mat anchors. They do not put holes in the mat, are heavy enough to withstand winds, and you can use them on concrete campsites, where you can't use tent pegs or hooks. On our second trip, there wasn't enough wind to lift up the mat, so I did not deploy the weights. As to the size we chose, 9' x 18', yeah, maybe it's a littler large for some smaller campsites, but having it cover the ground the length of our awning and two RV doors, it just makes life so much easier. We are not trying to cram all our outdoor equipment onto a postage-stamp sized mat. Like with a house, buy the biggest one you can afford (taking storage space into consideration, of course). The mat must be folded to fit into the carrying bag, and my concern is that the folds, which are permanently creased, will create weak points in the fabric (which is really plastic), which will eventually create holes. The mat came in the following fold pattern-- fold into thirds lengthwise, and then roll up. I have been treating this how I would treat a fragile quilt, which is to not fold it the same way twice. The challenge is to figure out a fold method that will get it into the carrying bag. Once laid out on the ground and either walked on a bit, or warmed by the sun, the creases flatten out. They do not affect the enjoyment of the mat, either functionally or visually. And speaking of.... as other reviewers have noted, the carrying bag is thin, rip-stop nylon. I have been stuffing the mat into the bag by first rolling the bag down, like putting on a pair of nylon hosiery. I think this puts less stress on the seams. I also treat the drawstring and barrel lock with care, so as not to stress the drawstring casing seam. I hope these steps will lengthen the life of the bag.
