Very easy to set up, it only took my husband about 10 minutes or less. It seems pretty sturdy as long as there isn’t much weight placed on top of the glass. It seems like there could be another bar across the middle of some sort for added support. We got it for our 11 year old daughter so it should be just fine for her. Although the top of it is too heavy for her to lift up to adjust the height of the table. The leg height isn’t adjustable which could definitely be a problem for some. We got a height adjustable drafting chair with a back to go with it. It works perfectly with the table. The removable storage containers are a nice feature. My daughter loves it. She really likes that the top is glass and says it works good for gem painting which is her big thing right now.

This is a fantastic table once you get it assembled. Assemblying it is a pain in the rear end. There were a few parts that simply wouldn't go together without us using oil. It took far longer than it should have to be honest to complete. It's pretty sturdy but I haven't had to try folding it yet. I have mine positioned in front of my bedroom TV so I can watch and draw along to YouTube drawing tutorials. I would recommend it for how good it is once assembled but if you value your sanity and aren't good at putting things together I would say pass and find another model that is easier to put together than this one. All in all it's a 4.5 for that reason and a recommendation because the quality is certainly there once past that stage.

Its a great buy for the price. Delivered in best condition and in time. The only problem I faced in product was the small movable elevation given at edge to stop things from sliding when table is placed tilted, I feel it could be broader as my paper keeps slipping off inspite of this support.

This table was purchased by my husband who is writing this review: For those less adept mechanically and more reliant on precise instructions, the instructions could be updated such as by eliminating the warning not to remove the rubber bands holding down the table top, inasmuch as rubber bands are no longer a part of the delivered packaging. If you study the instruction images, there should be no difficulty in assembling it in ten minutes or less.Several online reviews complain about the difficulty of the assembly or misfit of the leg support clamping mechanisms, not realizing the two half-circle clamps are purposefully designed as a compression-type fitting around the inserted support strut. All you need to do is firmly hand-press the strut into each of the half-circle clamps until each clamp snaps snuggly around it. You do not need a rubber mallet or other tools to compress it. Do not be put off by this negative critique in other reviews.Another complaint in reviews is the lack of some kind of device to keep the table and legs from unfolding in the folded-up storage position. I am using an improvised 65-inch long by 1-inch wide double-sided hook and loop (Velcro) tie strap to wrap around the entire table and folded legs to keep them securely held together in the folded-up position. This tie strap would be a nice included item by Studio Designs, but this is an easy fix for storage. In summary, I find this table to be well-engineered, sturdily-built, and an excellent overall value. I am 70, a retired attorney, but have also been a graphic artist since my college days. Without equivocation, I am completely satisfied with this table and its price point. It is an excellent buy.

I'm very happy with this product. It was somewhat easy to assemble. The support that locks the legs into place was a bit tricky to click into place, so you may have a hard time getting the leg support bar back out of the 'notches' to break the table down again. But if you don't plan on disassembling the table this won't matter. The table is very sturdy, the mechanism that tilts the desk top was easy to attach and easy to use. When the desk top is tilted up, it's nice and stable with no play. The silver paint finish is a good quality and it won't chip off easily unless you take a hammer to it.Paints wash/scrape off the table top easily and tape sticks really well if you need to tape anything down to hold it in place.

I really wanted to give this table 5 stars. It's great looking, not wobbly, easy to adjust the angle, requires minimal assembly, relatively easy to collapse down. I also found that because it's glass, it doesn't make the room I put it in feel smaller like a wood topped one might. The glass is also good if you do a lot of soldering because solder won't stick to it.My first table arrived broken. The top was completely shattered, you could hear it rolling around inside the box, so I sent it right back. When I got my 2nd table it was fine, but I was able to see why the other one shattered. The styrofoam on the side with the glass top could really stand to be thicker. That being said, the table top doesn't seem excessively fragile. As long as you're not rough about moving it around or dropping heavy things on it, it'll be fine. It does mention all over the place that it has a 25 lbs weight limit. Which brings me to my next problem with it.There's this huge awful clearish warning sticker on it that is a pain to take off. I tried peeling at it but I think I need to get a scraper and/or put a blow dryer on it. I haven't done this yet, hopefully there isn't a lot of goo left over.I don't think this table is designed for someone who wants to take it down and put it back up a lot. It's not really difficult to fold/unfold, but it does take a bit of force to pop the center bar in/out. You also need to unscrew the angle bracket if you don't want it sticking out. The screws for the angle bracket are just 4 thumb screws, so no tools needed. This table is good for someone who moves a lot, like say a student in a dorm, or someone who lives in a small space and wants to keep it up most of the time, but have the option to fold it up and make more space now and then. Also, when it's collapsed, there's nothing holding the legs in place, so you have to kind of try and hold them while moving it, or zip tie them or something.
