Bought this for my teenage son in his second year of art and graphic design in HS. One hole did not line up upon assembly and it was the last screw. We ignored it. It was a little confusing when assembling. I think it took us 45 minutes or so. He chose to have it without the casters. He’s had it for a couple of months and loves it- especially the glass. It’s smooth to write on and he can use it to trace if needed. (And clean it) We weren’t looking for anything fancy but if some useful quality. I think this is it.

i highly recommend this desk so far. Putting it together was simple and clear (as long as you pay attention to the directions.) the little drawers are perfect for other tools such as protractors, erasers and brushes. A little too small for a ruler. And the side containers aren’t cheap plastic either. I expected them to be flimsy and breakable but their firm and connect to each other, though you have to put them in the right way or they won’t fit properly. It has wheel! For me that’s just as great as a dress with pockets! Haha. The wheels screw in, so they won’t pop out randomly and they lock in front as well. Don’t want wheels? They have gliders as well! It even comes with a small screw driver for the two screws you need to place the bumpers for the glass. Speaking of which is a nice blue gray Smokey color and perfect if you want to put light underneath to trace when need be.The only issue i had was a little warping in the building of the drawers and that was easily fixable with a little muscle power. And it was mostly caused by me over tightening screws too early. Easy mistake for me. Lol. I hope you try this desk for a great and affordable price. If anything happens within the first month I’ll update :)

Love this table. Fairly easy to put together. Very sturdy. Glass is thicker, than I thought it would be. Love the angle I can use it at. Acrylic paint and Gesso wash off easy. The storage bins on the side are great. Specially for a painter, who tends to get messy but wants some organization. The storage draws are a bit small, however they are usefull. Comes with wheels and rubber knobs to make it not mobile. The wheels do lock in place. For a painter in a small apartment it's perfect. I also do watercolor and oil pastels. So being able to tape down my paper to the glass is great. The ruler that comes with it is just a piece of tape. Better off buying a nice one and glueing or velcroing it onto the glass. Glass is blue tinted. There is a metal lip at the end that works great for holding stretched canvases. Over all, it was a great buy for an artist.

I love this desk! After doing a ton of research on drafting tables, I decided on this one for my drafting/artist table. It arrived quickly, within three days of ordering. Packaging was great, no broken boxes looked as if it was all factory sealed.Assembly of desk was a snap. I used the tools that came with it, an Allen wrench and small open end wrench for the casters. I did use a Phillips head screw driver for the two screws that hold the two rubber grommets in place that the top rests on when in the lowered position. All of the holes lined up just fine, had no issues with mismatched of misaligned holes. The table top itself was pristine coming out of the box. I love the blue shade of the glass. As an extra bit of coolness I added a self adhesive strip of white LED lights top the inside frame of the desk top then secured black foam board underneath creating a perfect light box for all of my tracing needs. I may have to patten this and sell the idea as an add on. I could not be happier with this artist table!

Great table. Exactly what I was looking for. Although I gave 4 out of 5 stars (see below) I couldn't be happier with this purchase.I was looking for a small-ish table for hobbies, crafting, drawing, etc. This table was about the size I was looking for and had similar styling to other furniture I have. It had decent reviews in Amazon and came in at a reasonable price. I ordered it, and wow. It was shipped from a nearby fulfillment center to my neighborhood post office overnight and was delivered with the mail the next day. Talk about service! The box looked intact for the most part. There was a small hole in one of the sides which turned out to be inconsequential, as the parts were adequately protected with ample pieces of styrofoam and cardboard. All the major metal part were bagged individually in plastic. The glass top and the wire and plastic trays and tray frames were boxed separately for added protection. The lift mechanism was wrapped in foam. The screws/bolts were vacuumed packed with an allen wrench and a small wrench. The locking and non-locking casters were also bagged separately, along with optional glides and the glass top's "bumpers". The caster bag also included a spare of each screw/bolt and a long sticker (the ruler that goes on the table top). I had no missing or damaged parts in my kit. I did find some cosmetic paint issues, but I may be painting the whole frame black anyway.Assembly was pretty straight forward. The instructions were adequate. It contains a detailed parts list. Fortunately, there are not a lot of parts. All metal and glass parts are numbered with stickers. Screws and bolts have letter assignments which are indicated on its vacuum packaging. When assembling pay attention to how the parts are laid out in the instructions. I had a couple of goofs, only to realize I had missed a detail in the layout and assembled it backwards or upside down. But it was easy to take apart and reassemble. I finished up in a little less than 30 minutes. Note, I installed the glides (carpet glides). I did not install the casters. Assembly was completed using the supplied allen wrench. Two metal screws (securing the glass top bumpers) required a phillips screwdriver (not supplied). So, no delivery issues. Easy to assemble, check. The lift mechanism works well. The pencil stop, the trays and the drawers add functionality. Check, check. It looks great. I like it.A couple of things to note with respect to using the table lifting mechanism. The table is not very heavy and can tilt towards you, if one tries and pull the glass top up instead of lifting it. This has the potential to dump everything off the table and out of the trays (as the table top tilts, the plastic trays on the sides remain normal to the top). Also, when tilting the table its center of gravity moves towards you, and the overall structure becomes less and less stable. Fortunately most of my applications do not require the top to tilt. But, I might think about adding some weight to the back legs to add stability, for added safety. Since this inherent instability within its operating range is a consequence of it's design, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.I took some pictures and will add them if I can figure out how to do that.
