I'm a fulltime Rv'er and needed a new ladder for the overhead bunk. I couldn't find one to fit exactly what I needed, so I tried this one. I was afraid that it would buckle or bend under my weight (230lbs) because it sat at an angle, but it doesn't. I'm currently using it and feel confident in traversing it any time without fear of busting my butt. Got this for the rv, had to modify and cut an inch off the bottom to get the right slope. Sturdy little ladder, i used it sometimes and im 200lbs and felt totally comfortable.

The ladder looked good but it was too tall for my RV bunk. I thought it was a standard size.

Purchased this for our bunk room in our 5th wheel, bc we have two tall bunks, two low bunks, and only one ladder. I was tired of the boys fussing over who needed it more 🤦🏻‍♀️. I purchased this one to save on the climbing and destruction of the trim around the front of the bunk. It came with hardware, but it wasn’t the correct hardware (hooks did not fit into the hookie do’s that hold them, hence the star rating) so I just lean it over the edge of the trim/bunk side for now. Boys are only about 65 lbs for now so this placement of the ladder should work for a while. I will say that it is sturdier and more comfortable under foot than the one that came in our camper ( brand new). If I ever remember to look up how to request the correct hardware, life in the camper bunk room with 3 boys ages 6, 7, and 8 will be just peachy!

Easy to install and I liked that it came already assembled. Seems to be very sturdy. Highly recommend for children’s camper bunk beds.

We were converting my son's bunk beds from the kind with wooden stairs attached to a more "traditional" bunk with a ladder... and we needed a ladder. With a small adjustment to the length of the poles, this worked perfectly and hangs very well from the narrow wooden bar at the top of the bunk. My son's been using it for a couple of months now, and it's held up great.

It's a ladder, and it works to go both up and down without hurting my kid's poor footsies! The ladder they got with their bunk bed was a metal nightmare, just add a few razor blades, and it would have been straight out of a horror film. So we had to find a different one, this one was cheaper than the rest, and I was worried that it was made out of sticky tape and hope, but honestly, it is perfect. It's lightweight, so I didn't give myself a hernia carrying it up the stairs, but it's sturdy enough that the 12 yr old and 5 yr can fight on it without breaking the steps! If you need a new ladder for a bunk bed, this one is about as perfect as you can buy!

We bought this for our 2017 Jayco Jayflight 264BHW. It looks good and doesn’t take up too much room. It appears to be strong and suits the decor.

The ladder itself is just what I expected. It is nice & sturdy. I ordered this just in time to receive before my camping trip and it arrived on time but the box was pretty banged up and ripped open. Turns out the brackets come preassembled on the top of the ladder but there was only 1 bracket and it was loose in the box. I am missing the 1 bracket and both screws to use it correctly. Very disappointed! If I did not need it for my trip this week I would have sent it back.UPDATE: I went to the Stromberg Carlson website on Sunday August 2nd and sent them an email about my missing parts and they emailed me back on Monday August 3rd and wanted proof of purchase and shipping address. I emailed them the proof of purchase and they emailed me back within an hour and told me they were shipping me the missing parts. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will update again when I receive the missing parts.UPDATE AUGUST 6, 2020I received my missing parts from Stromberg Carlson from UPS. Unbelievable customer service! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Ladder is sturdy, the rubber feet are nice, the hooks provided could be slightly longer on the hook side, the hook throat side is good. We had to shorten the ladder to 52", was an easy task to remove the hardware and cut the tubing a few inches either end and reassemble. Our little girl can climb it to her bunk with easy.

Our Keystone Bullet 243BHS did not come with a ladder to get into the top bunk. I decided to try this one and I'm 100% happy. It comes with a set of hooks on the top to simply hook over the edge of the bunk, or install a second set of small hooks that set into a pair of aluminum brackets. I chose the second, and used the aluminum brackets since it makes the ladder a little sturdier. I did find the fit very tight, kind of semi- permanent. I wanted to loosen up the fit so we could toss the ladder on the top bunk to free up the floor space. I used a file to file down the ribs on the back of the mounting bracket. They are aluminum, so it was very easy and took only a few minutes. Now the fit is perfect ! Very sturdy, yet the ladder is easily moved when not needed. I did also cut about 4 inches off the bottom of the legs since I did not need the full 5 foot height for our camper. The rubber feet pop off and the aluminum leg is easily cut, filed, and pop the feet back on. This ladder worked out great for us, and I would recommend to anyone needing a bunk ladder.
