Stringjoy strings are the best I have ever used.

I'm trying different gauge strings from Stringjoy as it's a fine balance between tension and tone. I prefer the round core Broadway strings over their hex-core Signature strings. The Broadway (to my ears) have smoother tone and nicer feel. As Stringjoy offers custom sets, I will keep experimenting and should find exactly what I like. Are they worth the premium price? They seem more durable than cheaper strings, but for me it's more about finding the tone and tension that I like.

I just bought a few more sets of the standards, but I put Broadways on a used D'Angelico Premier Bedford SH that I just purchased and it came alive! The original strings were entirely too bright, buzzy, and thin sounding. In fact, I was debating replacing all the pickups. After the string change, the Bedford sounds much fuller and the tone is amazing. Bending strings and tuning stability is awesome too. I am going to replace the mini hum with something a bit more hot and PAF'ier, but for now the Duncan designed mini pup is passable with these strings.

They feel different, they sound different. It's subtle, but with guitar subtleties are the entire instrument. Great strings, seems like they'll last plenty long!

I have been using Stringjoy strings for about 5 years now and I am glad that you can now get them on Amazon. The first thing you will notice is that the strings do not need as much stretching as other strings. Other strings need 5 pulls to get then to stabilize. With Stringjoy, 2 pulls and you are stable. To me, that is a sign of high quality strings. The sound great on the guitar. With the Broadways, I hear a little more of a vintage tone than with their Signatures. One by one, I am switching my guitars to the Broadways and I love the tone.

Stringjoy strings have a rounder, more polished sound than any other brand I've tried, and these are no exceptions. Just - don't put them on a strat, because they'll do odd harmonic things on the lighter strings that are hard to control. The slightly thicker .10's do not have this problem.

Love these strings I am a first time buyer and convert. Tone is what I was looking for and I look no further. Put them on my Strat and was so happy I restrung my les Paul with them as well
