Ive got them on all 8 of my electrics. I tune them super tight when stringing it up. Then tune it to normal. Play for 5 minutes and retune and its ready to go.Im lazy and leave my guitar in the car overnight all the time. Temperatures can range between 30 at night and 60 in the afternoon in the winter. Summer can be 70 - 100 and i will take it out and its still in tune

Haven't used this particular style yet. I have tried every other style and the XS series which is the black package. Supposedly it's the string right below these. Which I am not super happy with They're okay but I like the regular NYXLs better. These might change my mind but the best string right now since I started playing in 1982 is the m steel string from Ernie Ball. But you never know I'm sure these are going to rank in the top 5, They should for 15 bucks a set?

I grew up playing D'Addario strings; they're great. I switched to Elixr's for about a decade for longevity. I tried these, and honestly I can't really tell a difference, but I like them. I would say they're as good or better. Why are they better if I can't tell a difference? Good question! These strings are available in more guages. I really like 9.5 strings, and I don't think it was possible to get coated ones until these were available. Thank you D'Addario for making great stuff!!!!

I have used Elixir nanoweb strings exclusively for probably the past 15 years. I have new Hollowbody that felt a little stiff compared to my other 24.75 scale guitars. So I wanted to try a lighter gauge but didn't want to use 9s. These fit the bill perfectly and are similar to the Elixir feel. I also don't feel a huge difference under the fingers compared to 10s and these made that particular guitar feel more like my other short-scale guitars. Overall, very happy and happy to have this slightly lighter gauge without going to 9s

I know they are more expensive but man are they worth the money to me. I’ve been using them for about a year now and I have them on several guitars. You can really tell a difference. They feel so much slicker and seem to last forever. They seem to be much more gentle on my fingertips after hours of practice vs non coated strings. I will definitely keep using these.

I gotta be honest i was really apprehensive about buying these XS electric guitar strings out as I had already tried the acoustic version a long time ago when they first came out and i wasn't impressed to be honest.I opted for the light gauge 10/46 set for my PRS S2 Standard 24 which has a 25" scale neck and these feel perfect to me on it .It has the right amount of tension but ability for string bending on the treble strings without too much problems or fatigue on the fingers.I've only just put these on my guitar today 15/8/24.So only time will tell how long they will actually last as they are not cheap strings. They do feel very nice to play I actually prefer the feel of the coating on the wound strings on these XS to Elixirs but that's only my opinion. At the moment I'm very happy with my purchase and can't see why I wouldn't buy these D'Addario XS 10/46 gauge strings again.A☆☆☆☆☆

These have a similar feel to a regular uncoated string. They sound fantastic and felt great the first 24 hours. After about 48 hours they started feeling gunky and crud was building up already. Was fun to try them out but I’ll stick with elixers.

These strings are great for Les Paul shaped guitars. With the strings having 11s at the bottom is great for grunty sound you get from a Les Paul. Then having the regular top strings are good for tapping and pitch bends in my opinion. They should last over a year as they are very thinly coated, and they a nice slippy feel ideal for shredding.

Feel:If you're reading this you're probably not one of those "coated strings suck" snobs. But if you are, let me say these strings don't behave like coated strings, except for their playability and longevity aspect. They feel sleek, slippery, but not artificially so. Even the non-wound high strings stay slippery, they don't get that chunky, rusty feel after a couple weeks, they are a real pleasure to play!Stability & longevity:I've been playing for about 30 years, and I don't notice any tuning issues that I didn't notice with other strings, coated or not, so as far as I can tell stability isn't an issue. I used to use Elixirs (for longevity) but the last 2 or 3 years it's only D'Addario XS for me, for acoustics and electrics. No joke, I got 1.5 years out of these on my acoustic. Granted I don't play it every day, but weekly, yes. I regularly get 5 or 6 months on my electrics which I play nearly daily. YMMV as with anything, but I'm telling you these are the real deal, there is no better string at the time of this writing, in my humble opinion.Sound:Electric sound- who cares; there's so much more to your sound than the strings on an electric, so play strings that feel good and last, agree with me or not but that's my advice.Acoustic sound- well, if you're a sound snob for your acoustics, you may -or may not- like these. They don't seem as bright and nasally as Elixirs, but they are bright and crisp, for what I like my acoustics to sounds like they're perfect for me. If you have a spruce top, you may think they're extra bright, my main one is solid mahogany so they work wonderful. Again, YMMV if you seek a specific sound from acoustic strings based on your guitar's wood or top type.
