I bought this guard for an older 8.25" strikemaster bit. It fits perfectly, and the plastic is plenty thick for the application. The cord does look a bit delicate, but I have yet to put it to any actual use in wintertime conditions. So, it may prove better than expected. If it fails, I'll just make something work using a bungee cord. Interestingly, the words "made in Finland" were molded into the guard. Yet, the Amazon page clearly says that it's made in China.

I am not sure it will work. The rubber strap does not secure it well.

This will work for any aguer with an 8 inch blade. Dont worry about it being the correct brand name.
