When I bought my drill. They lost the cover at the store and gave me some random BS one didn’t even fit. I’ve struggled for a few years now with cords and rubber and the cover would always fall off and tear everything. This is an amazing product and exactly the right fit for my Quantum 8”.

I bought this as a replacement for the blade cover on my ION Ice Auger. This cover is an exact replacement even though it is Eskimo Brand. The cover also appears to be better quality and more durable,

J'ai acheté ce protecteur de lames pour ma perceuse a glace Eskimo de 8 pouces. Il est de bonne qualitée, en plastique épais et muni d'un attache de bonne qualitée (mieux que les attaches en caoutchoux qu'on retrouve habituellement sur les produits similaires a bon marché). Mais j'enlève une étoile, malgré la bonne qualitée du produit, parce que je trouve que le prix est un peu exagèré, je considère qu'un prix entre $40 et $50 aurait été plus réaliste pour cet objet en plastique...

Ordered and the one that showed up was different than the one in the picture the one in the picture was the same as the original but the one that showed up was different but still works!

Received fast with no problems. The only thing is that I believe I have received an updated version as it is now using a bungee cord w/ball to hold the cap on. Not as shown in the picture. Not a deal breaker.

I bought this blade protector for a Jiffy 8" ice auger. It fit perfectly and will protect the blade from damage as well as protect me from injury during handling.
