Our full toe style is our most popular shoe tree, featuring its two part ventilation slots at the toe, which is recommended by most fine shoe manufacturers. Use of our shoe trees is the ultimate way for a gentleman to protect and extend the life of his shoes. Made from the aromatic heartwood of premium red cedar, these shoe trees work their magic by absorbing the odor and moisture into the wood and then allowing the moisture to escape through the two ventilation slots. They preserve the original shape of the shoe by our gentle spring loaded technology.

I grew up in the Deep South where we stored our clothing in cedar wardrobes, cedar chests, and if one could afford the extravagance, a cedar closet. When I opened up the box of Stratton Cedar Shoe Trees, the smells reminded me of those memories. The product is the finest of many I have owned. Had I known of the Stratton trees, I would have not purchased other brands. …great fit—they snap in place.

I bought a set of these to evaluate. The quality is high and they smell great with fresh cedar smell. Most of the wood was red cedar heartwood with a small amount of blonde wood. Any small knot holes were filled and sanded nicely. Need for filler was minimal. Surface was smooth overall. The spring holds the tree in securely. I wear a 9 1/2" in dress shoes, and these fit perfectly. I immediately ordered a second set. I now have them in four pairs of shoes, and they are working well. To remove the shoe trees, it's best to grasp the heel handle with the index and middle finger and pull it forward to compress the spring before lifting it out. I do find a knob works better in this regard, and I would prefer a knob over the brass plate. The plate could be removed and a knob added if anyone was so inclined. I still think they deserve 5 stars. If it was a 10 point scale, I'd give them a 9 for the lack of a knob for easy removal.

I've always had a couple pair of shoe trees for dress shoes. I've started branching out and using them in boots and tennis shoes as well. These are a great set. I've wear 10 1/2 and ordered size L. They are a bit snug but fit without issue. They are some of the best shoe trees I've had.

I have a high quality pair of very nice dress boots that I try to maintain to a high level. I purchased this set of shoe trees specifically for those boots, and they work great.The shoe trees are made of cedar, which is excellent for use with shoes, and they are spring loaded, so they are easy to insert. They do an a great job of keeping the shape of the boot as well as keeping the boots looking good (fewer creases and wrinkles). Highly recommended for maintaining quality shoes.

Well-crafted item. The medium size fits my 9.5 UK loafers. There's a slight stretch, but overall, they are much better suited for loafers as they don't have a high instep like other shoe trees. Pleasant woody scent.I recommend it.

These show trees are *almost* perfect. They have one tiny - TINY - flaw - the screws that hold the Stratton nameplate are elevated instead of sitting flush, so sometimes you can scratch yourself or get a nail hung up on the screw trying to take the shoe trees out of your show (putting them in is simple). This is easily fixed though - just unscrew the nameplate! Once you do that, you have a very solid, extremely well-constructed pair of shoe trees made of real cedar that have an ingenious spring-loaded design that makes putting them in and out a breeze. Buy with confidence and extend the life of your shoes by 5+ years!

The cedar is lovely and the overall shape and structure is great, just as expected.However, I was surprised at their size. For reference, my dress shoes are size 16 US and in comparing these size XXL shoe trees to the XXL Allen Edmonds I have from other dress shoes that came with the shoe trees, these were smaller, and are much more comparable to XL in Allen Edmonds.When I put these in the shoes I bought them for, they are stretched out as much as is possible, and if I were to hold the shoe vertically, the shoe tree, will slide down a full inch. So although I will use them, I am hoping they will do what they need to.Results are to be determined.Update: Played musical chairs with my shoes and shoe trees and turns out that I've got a pair that these fit better in, still a little bit loose but not sliding down an inch like in the other shoes I had put them in. :)

I ordered a 2 pack of these Shoe Tree's as a "first shot" due to the price being set at a great point.First: The packaging they arrived in was GREAT! I sometimes get used to mediocre to "bad" packaging and tend to overlook things like bent, torn, thin boxes or even no boxes at all but when the package arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Sleek thick cardboard box and the trees were wrapped and packed with very little movement. When opening the box, the cedar scent was immediately present. Not overpowering but just about right to me.Second: The tree's themselves FEEL solidly constructed. My first thought was solid. I grabbed a couple of pairs of shoes to test.Third: One picture has the tree's in both shoes. One picture has the tree in one shoe and out. Third picture has the tree in a boot so I could take a picture of the inside. Tree's fit great overall. The bar in the middle of the tree slides in to shorten the tree. The movement was smooth with no sticking. When pulling the tree out of the shoe, it springs forward with no sticking. Since I just got these, I'll keep an eye out for any changes to that. I'll be pulling them in and out of 4 pairs of shoes that I wear through the week so I'll have plenty of time to observe that. There is no spring for width and as you can see in the picture showing the inside of the shoe, there's a small amount of space but this is not even close to being a deal breaker. At this point, I feel this tree will be more than fine for keeping the shape of the shoes they're in. Did I mention the Cedar scent is great?I immediately purchased an additional 2 pack for the other 2 pairs I swap out during the week.
