I'm using the 1/8" thick version to add padding to the wrist shelf on my keyboard; I found the 1/4" was too thick for what I wanted. I'd been using dedicated products, but they cost as much as this whole pack, just for two squares of material that really weren't even wide enough to support my whole hand. A really important factor for this is that the pad can't be slippery - the bare plastic is, and that's one of the problems I'm trying to solve. Silicone pads have a similar subtle squish (usually just a bit softer than this foam) but are much more slippery, even the dull/matte looking pads. Silicone is known for being nonstick, so no surprise.These were very easy to trim to size, and unlike trimming something like a mousepad, the top layer on this foam doesn't want to immediately delaminate from the inner layers when you cut it. After a week of constant use they're still looking good.The adhesive is strong, in a pleasant surprise sort of way. I was still able to reposition them as I was fitting them, but even after doing so they're not lifting at the corners or anything and it's a curved contour they have to follow; I wouldn't have expected them to do flawlessly. Here's hoping it stays that way.My only complaint is actually that the adhesive is strong enough that getting the backing to peel away cleanly is difficult - I noticed this on the 1/4" and on the 1/8" both, so I'd expect it on all of the varieties. You need to be very careful that you're actually unpeeling the paper from the adhesive layer, rather than having the adhesive layer stay firmly bonded to both the paper and the bottom surface of the foam --- the middle, soft part of the foam sandwich will try to tear away instead. I found I just had to try a different corner, and sometimes a third or even fourth spot to get the paper to peel away cleanly - though once you can get even a tiny bit of it, the rest comes easily.

These stuck well, easy to trim down to size needed, the thickness was exactly as listed, and all in all good quality.

I live down South and as much as I love the sun. It’s hard on dog doors. Found these and thought I’d give my idea a whirl. Bought a replacement dog door flap to replace the warped one. While it was fresh and new, I put one of these on the side facing the sun. The door is a medium and these fit without altering.

I bought this to use as a cheek piece cover thinking it would be a good alternative to a product called Cheek Eez. This isn’t as durable and wears out quickly over extended use

I used one of these to blunt the annoying and loud backup up signal in my plug in hybrid SUV. You can still hear it but it no longer wakes the neighbors!

I bought these to cushion my bicycle seat but found out that the seat was now worse than ever as the thick cushion just did not work for what I wanted. I later used it to cover my arm rest on my glider rocker chair.I gave it 5 stars as it does work if used for what it is designed for.

I have the 1/8" sheets and since getting them not a week goes by when I think, "hmm, I bet that would work for . . ." I have them stuck to the back of my phone and tablets so they are much much less likely to slip out of my hands.The adhesive works well on glass, metal, plastic and even unfinished well sanded wood. It cuts well with exacto blades and flicking a corner of the backing to peel it off has always worked for me. Remains to be seen how long the material holds up, but the one on my phone which sees my back pocket daily is still going strong after 2 months and I expect it will last at least a year.

Me gustó el material, coadyuba en la reducción de los molestos ruidos por vibración de los objetos qué guardamos en el glove box, consola central y monedero. Hay diferentes espesores y tamaños, lo recomiendo. Soporta las temperaturas altas dentro del auto. Saludos.

This product was used to help silence the obnoxious 96db beeping sound Hyundai has on its hybrid Tucson. It's very durable with excellent adhesive properties. It's lowered the volume to a very tolerable 56db.We have driven over 5000 miles since installing one adhesive pad with no problems. This includes driving at highway speeds in various types of weather.We won't ever need to buy it again since 4 pads came in our order.
