Retractable cable is perfect for a flashlight! Clips easily to BCD straps. It does dangle a little, so clipping to the chest strap is recommended to keep your trim and stop equipment from accidentally damaging the reef. I’d purchase another one if I had other gear.

Feels good and strong. Hope it will last as long as my last one which was over ten years of diving. Arrived real fast. I'll be diving in a few weeks and will update the review at that time. For now I'm impressed

It's OK, but bigger than I expected - the bad thing is it costs almost as much to ship it back as it cost me to buy - so not worth my time to return.

This was a cheaper option than going with a little more expensive option. I have the more expensive product and it's lasted so far with all the abuse and it's been over a year. This product failed after 3 dives.

Be warned - there is a good strong retraction for this clip and you don't want to allow it to retract without controlling the object. If you don't hold the object being retracted you could get hit when it is pulled in. That said, this is exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with the product.

this thing works fairly well. it does lose it retracing ability fairly quickly and is no where near as strong as the deluxe model. however it is made from strong cable so it you don't need it to retract that often and use the lock its great.
