We purchased a home and wanted to really clean up some of the stained grout in the master shower. We sealed the tile and grout, my husband used a roller and it went on well. Hope it is durable and already does seem to have absorbed well into the grout areas.

This is the only product I've used since remodeling our master bath because the first use proved itself reliable. Seals well and holds back mold. Two coats, wipe down good, and wait a couple days and you're good to go. I do our shower every 2.5 to 3 years. It's an easy brush on task so why wait and push the manufacturers recommendation of 4 to 5 years. It may last that long but I don't wait to find out.

No color change in grout. Easy to clean residue. Used a foam brush on sanded grout,. Bad idea; grout ate the brush. Pad? Roller? Used on shower surround so instructions were not clear on when it could be used. Contacted Laticrete Customer Support: wait 24 hours (48 better) before using shower.

Did a test trial and sheds water immediately. No color change to grout and no smell when you apply it.

Fairly expensive, but works well and does not discolour grout or stone.

This is the product recommended by the manufacturer of the grout used on the backsplash in our kitchen. I found that it did not protect the grout adequately against stains which are inevitable from cooking in a kitchen. Even after the recommended two coats when I scrubbed the backsplash the grout still darkened significantly indicating that it was absorbing water. The grout continues to acquire stains from cooking oils.

Bathroom renovation was challenging. Specifically completion of the tile/grout. It was important to me to find a grout sealer of good quality that did NOT change the color of the grout or leave an unintended finish to the tile. Reading the reviews for this product didn’t leave me feeling 100% confident, but I ordered it anyway. When it arrived the sealer had leaked through the cardboard box and my lack of confidence had turned to complete doubt. I tested hidden areas with 3 coats, and after 24 hours there was no change in grout color, no haze or sheen on the tile, and it beaded water. Success! I applied it directly to grout lines with a beginners paint brush in 5min sections, 3 coats total. I could tell it was working by the 2nd coat because there were more drips. Didn’t wear a mask or gloves, ran the bathroom exhaust van. Was an easy but time consuming application. The shower has black grout with white tile and the floor has a light off white grout with light wood look tile. Haven’t been able to test with regular showers but I feel confident it will do its job.

For some reason my contractor didn't do this . . . I guess I was supposed to specifically tell him. Anyway save yourself the money for an applicator. I tried to find one at a local hardware store. Their site said that they had 12 in stock. After getting the help of 3 store clerks we couldn't find them. So I just used a toothbrush like the video showed. Worked just fine. And no it didn't discolor or even darken my grout. My grout is grayish white. Of course I cannot attest at this point if it prevents mold and mildew etc. But so far I'm happy with it. At least it cuts down on the fumes that you get with those aerosol cans . . . which is what I used the last time around.

This worked great and was easy to use to seal the grout for my new floor tile in the kitchen.Along with this, I ordered a bag of 1" foam brushes, and it worked out as well as I could have hoped. The foam allowed me to keep going over a good distance without having to constantly recharge with more product, and also kept me in the grout line very easily. When I did get out of the line, it wiped off easily with a cotton rag. Once I got into a groovy, it only took a few hours to apply 2 coats to about 160 square feet of floor with 6" x 24" porcelain plank tiles. I kept the windows open, and ceiling fans running, but I didn't notice any odor from the product, which was nice. I have a ton left in the quart bottle, and could have easily used the pint size.If I have any problems once my kitchen is back in working order, I'll update. For now, I'm very happy with this product.

Great grout sealer. Used this on a granite counter top, porcelain tile counter top, ceramic tile counter top, tile floor, and a porcelain tile shower with great success. Vastly superior to other products tried. My experience is that it should be applied liberally with a chisel/ artist brush (easier than smearing it all over tile and trying to wipe up later IMHO). Needs two coats. When the surface does not absorb additional sealer it does not need any more. I applied two coats within a few minutes, going over a small area twice before moving on. I find the roller applicators a big pain. I use a small plastic disposable beverage cup and pour enough sealer so that I can dip the end of the brush (below the ferrule) without looking and the process goes very quickly.
