These pen's really cover and are so easy to use. This color is not a DARK Grey, but the "Silver Grey" is really light. So this covers nicely but not to heavy looking. Very nice.

This product gave my boring kitchen back splash just the pick me up it need. It was so easy to apply the color. I started with a light gray and re applied this darker gray. All I can say is "Amazing"!!

The application tip needs to be improved on, it flattens out when you press on firmly on it.

This thickness fit perfectly into the grout size of my kitchen tile so it was easy to apply and keep in a straight line. So far so good.

I successfully used this to change white grout grey on 2mm wide grout lines. It worked well, & produced the result I needed. Once died, I then sealed the grout lines with HG grout protector. it all looks really good now, with no trace of my original error in using white grout when it should have been grey.

This product was a great find. I have been trying in vain to clean my grout with no success. This pen makes it so easy!!! The color options are great. The pen is easy to use. I am so happy with the finished product. My bathroom floors look updated and fresh now and I didn't have to replace the tile. I have purchased the narrow tip pens and find that works best as I can control better where the color goes. I cannot speak to the longevity of the product as I have just used it but I believe touch ups would be easy to do over time. Great for an easy DIY project.

I didn't pay much for this grout pen and it ended up working out pretty good. Next time I won't be getting the wide tip because the grout had a lot of uneven areas where a narrow tip would have been less messy. It was hard to get against the wall but that's my lesson learned. The color was more blue than gray. It looks good in the end but it was kind of a mess before touch up.

Easy to use, did entire bathroom floor with one pen and the same tip, and there's still more fluid left in the pen, so I can use it for further touch ups

Hence the three star rating. It's good stuff, fast and easy, and looks nice. At least the grout that I had enough for. It brings new life to old grout, but it ran out of gas about two thirds of the way through doing the grout in a small bathroom, which was disappointing. If I remember right, I used 1/8th inch spacers when laying the tile ten years ago. I figured one tube would be enough to do a small bathroom floor. I figured wrong. So keep that in mind when you order. Ordered two more tubes just to be sure I'm covered. Beats the heck out of having to re-grout.

This was the most incredibly soothing and least frustrating home improvement product I have ever tried. My kitchen gray slate tiles had green (ugh) grout when I bought the place - this made the grout look moldy.I bought the gray pen (slightly lighter than the tiles). It was easy to put on, didn't make a mess and the floor looks a billion times better - and it was really kind of fun.Tips.Really clean the grout first. I scrubbed with a grout brush, vacuumed steamed and then vacuumed again. Probably overkill, but the cleaner it is the better it works.I did a 5X10 ft area with the smaller pen and there was enough left to do a bit more.Shake the pen, then press down on cardboard till the tip is covered in grout. For consistent application, press down again to re-cover the pen at every tile intersection.Drag the pen tip slowly, more like a paint brush , rather than digging into the tiles.I didn't have to mask anything, but have a paper towel ready - cleaning up the wet stuff is easy, once it dries - well, it is grout.Since my pen color was lighter than the original grout color, I let it dry for one day and then vacuumed and did one more coat - that made it look virtually like a professional job.Did I mention that this was totally soothing? Can't speak to longevity yet, but this is so simple and painless and cheap that if it had to bee redone, no problem. If only all my home repairs were like this

The item was pretty much what I expected. It works like a large paint pen— so anyone familiar (from marking auto parts or whatnot) will understand this pen. The paint applied easily, however as others noted, you will definitely get it on your tile.I bought this as a temporary solution for an entryway in our new house— the tiles are acceptable but the brown yellow grout that looked like urine were not ok by anyone’s standards.Wiping it up with a damp rag works, but took most of the product off from the grout, no matter how carefully I approached the subject, trying my hardest to not touch the grout lines. After an hour I got the 35 square foot area all cleaned up and stood back... and my wife and I agreed that it looked like crap. It just looked so half-assed. The color was splotchy, looked messy and inconsistent ( I’m a pretty meticulous person, kinda OCD, so I assure it wasn’t lack of care in application or clean up. I just renovated 2 bedrooms, and completely redid a bathroom and new tile all around.)So I decided to take off the grout paint and TileX to soak about 5 minutes, and the grout paint wiped up easily, returning the grout to the original urine stained color. I learned two things with this project:1. The paint pen was “meh” at best, and left me disappointed with the subpar results2. I know for certain I need to replace the tile in my entryway because this “holdover/ temporary” solution didn’t work.
