If you're planning to buy this net and keep it place; than I suggest this item.If you're planning to assemble it, and unassemble it everytime you finish playing, than DO NOT buy it.1) Fixing the net in the polls, is extermly frustrating2) The quality of the net itself isnt great3) Net get easily ripped, if you're going to assmble it and unassemble it multiple times.

My first net I thought it was too short and after reading the review it sounded like there was a problem with these nets. They appear and measure shorter than what you would think you need and are difficult to stretch. However, after discovering a little trick on how to stretch it across the table it worked perfect. My second net was exactly as the first and it fit great. A little patience is needed to fit them onto your table.

marketed as a "premium net" and a "regulation table tennis net". A regulation net should be adjustable for height. Funny that it comes with a height gage and the height is not adjustable. My net is almost a 1/4 inch too high. Otherwise, the quality is pretty good. The net is pretty tight though (not the string for the top tension, but the netting itself) and I wonder if that excess tension will lead to a quicker net death. Spring clips for attachment works well. Instructions don't say that in order to keep the uprights from collapsing in they have to be snapped down until they engage, but most people would probably investigate it and figure it out. Also, I was confused by the directions as to whether the net sleeve should cover the larger diameter on the pole or if it should only be pulled to the smaller diameter.

The packaging was nice and the posts are beautiful, with multiple rings on the side so you can conveniently adjust net tension. The set up instruction is very brief and unspecific. You'll have to do 50% of guess work to figure everything out. Granted, it is not too difficult to set up, if you have previous experience with this type of net and post system. This set is a bit more complicated than the average cheap net sets. If this is your first time setting it up, you'll likely be frustrated in the beginning.Given the high quality of the posts, I was surprised by the low quality net that came with the set. The net fit poorly with the posts (I'm not sure if I'm unlucky and this is just an isolated incident), which contributed to my initial frustration during set up, and it made me think I'm doing something wrong when, in fact, I'm doing everything correctly. All in all, I'm satisfied with the posts' quality and the decent price. After the set up is complete, the net is regulation height (6 inches) and very taut. But due to the net's poor quality, the bottom part of the net does not sit smoothly with the posts. While it does not affect the net's performance at all, it is a bit of an eyesore. I might just replace the net with one of better quality. If you are not a perfectionist, you should have no issue at all.

Freaking awesome net! We have 2 tables at the office and both of the nets were pretty worn out. The guys were smashing the ball into the net and having it drop over for cheap points. This net has taken away the cheap points. The ball pops up if it hits the net or rejects it just like in tournament play. Also, the clamps are awesome! No more having to tighten a screw clamp. It's really easy to set up. I watched the Youtube video by searching for "Stiga Net." The video is only a minute long because it's not hard. You just take the rods out of the sides and thread them through the ends of the nets and then replace. Everything else comes already set up. The guys at work love it so much that I just ordered another one for the other table. If I ever buy a table for home, I'll order another one.

The net that came with my table was awful so I bought this. I didn't want to spend very much, so I was fine with getting a middle of the road net. The quality is just fine for the price and my favorite thing about it is that you can pull on the net string and tie it to get it as tight as you want it. I hate a floppy net letting the ball over when it shouldn'tIt fits perfectly it just took 5 minutes figure out how to install it/get it adjusted. If this won't fit your regulation size table or you can't figure it out, there is something wrong with you not the net.Maybe I will go for a more expensive heavy duty net in the future but for now this is more than playable.

I ordered this net on Monday, it was delivered Thursday - crazy fast. The net fits our Stiga table perfectly and it is far superior to the standard net that came with the table. Wish I had ordered this years ago. It fastens to the table firmly and the net pulls taut so that there is no sag. I'm very impressed.

First off, the net is great. Very good quality, good tension adjustment and quality clips. The bad:No instructions and measures about 66" long out of the box. Seriously what would it take to include a little 3" x 5" instruction paper? Fortunately I read a review that said there's a video on how to set this up or I may have sent it back... Secondly, a lot of people are not realizing that the 66" stretches out to 72" and returning them. Something else I learned from reading a review and a tip that could've been put on some instructions to avoid frustration and a lot of unnecessary returns.

My old net actually broke at the base clamp so I was in the market for a new one. I read the reviews on the Stiga net as well as many other replacement nets. This one seemed to fit the bill.I received it and was able to get it setup in a little under 10 minutes. Watching the video of how to install was helpful. I like the height checking tool they include with the net.I was a little worried the clamps were not going to be sturdy or hold up but they are more than fine. The net is solid as a rock and we of course tested it out with some game play. The Clipper Pro is a well designed and fairly priced product. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good net.

Our ping pong playing had died off due to the net we used to have. It allowed slack, was bending due to all of the tightening we had been doing, and it gave so many problems that we stopped playing ping pong for many months. I saw this net in a store and purchased it on Amazon. We are so happy with this net. It remains very tight, was easy to attach, and makes playing more fun. We can now hit hard shots that tip the net and still fall over. What a great product--wish I could give six stars.
