Do not buy this! I don't know what it's made of but it's definitely not silver. We have used it ONE time and hand washed it. Note the color literally peeled off of it! I am horrified to wonder what this spoon is made of, since I used it to feed a baby. Is it even safe for consumption? I have included pictures showing what happened after 1 use and handwash. We paid $100 for this and presented it to her at a ceremony as her silver spoon. Its beyond disappointing.

It is really nice, and looks better than on the picture. Just there is one minus, it is really little for a baby to eat anything with it, I guess can drink water only whenever they start drinking. But it is a perfect gift and a keepsake!!

$100 is a lot of money for this spoon to show up like this with the gift box crushed. Not very happy. Spoon for my newborn daughter so we can get her name engraved on it.
