I ordered this because the headline is solid sterling silver. It is only silver plated.In the description is says solid silver plated. This is a deception and a fraud.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this spoon. I would give it 5 stars if it had a stamp on it indicating that it was silver and not just silver plate. It is lighter in weight than what I remember of Birks stirling products but it is still beautiful and the price excellent. It took engraving perfectly.
