Fluid Film aerosol is a convenient to use product. The Black is best suited for its primary purpose to protect the undercarriage of your vehicle. The Clear is also good to use for your vehicle, especially if your car is new and you want to maintain that new look.The Clear is good for protecting many other metals with less mess. Works great on padlocks exposed to weather. Remember this remains fluid and doesn't dry out!

Very easy to apply. Nice it comes with the straw attachment for getting into tight places. Should help protect the underside of my vehicle from the North Eastern salt and winter weather.

This is my second winter using this stuff on my Steel unibody SUV. It works great. I buy the gallon jug, which I then pour into my paint sprayer, also can use a paintbrush and then this spray can is great for tighter spaces.

Bought the kit and did the underside of my truck. Each year I buy a couple of cans and do touch up. Keeps my truck rust free…BTW, I live in Wisconsin. I also use the straw on my snow blower.

Fluid Film really works and protects your vehicle and other steel items like garden equipment from rust. I have been coating my truck with this since purchasing in 2007. 300K miles and 17 years later in New England winters without any rust. The sprayer attachment is a bit messy but allows you to get inside frame rails and panels. Cheap insurance against early frame failure.

I had heard of Fluid Film but this is the first time I've purchased it and used it (spray can). I decided on black so it would match my GX460 frame and the new rubber fender liners I was installing, after reading the liner manufacturer recommending Fluid Film on their neoprene parts. The Fluid Film sprays on easily, and wipes with a rag evenly; just don't let it drip or it could be messy. For those coating the entire underbody of their vehicles with this stuff, I can see why! Water beads and it leaves a beautiful black color on the metal parts; looks great. I may purchase more and start to gradually coat the underbody as I have rust spots that this looks like will really protect. I'm giving it 4 stars due to price--the black is very expensive compared to the original and if there is a bulk option that is less expensive for a large job, that would be the way to go.
