-Remove any excess paint from the stencil brush or foam roller

Works as expected. The patterns are intricate so it was difficult to make them perfect. I was new to stenciling and learned a few things… take the stencil off when it’s still wet, don’t let it dry with the stencil. Blue tape was super important. I liked the patterns overall and am impressed by the way it turned out.

I decided to paint and stencil our parquet floor. I tried another stencil first and it was too flimsy and the paint bled a lot. So frustrating!I was so glad I had this stencil arrive later that day because I had repainted the floor to cover up the first stencil mess and was able to use this stencil right away.The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is that your brush/roller should be practically dry. Thankfully, the instructions mentioned this and that helped me a lot. I recommend practicing on a cardboard box or paper to get the right feel of the correct amount of paint.The stencil was sturdy. I bought two sets because I wanted to be able to cut around the walls and was only using one design. I was able to stencil my whole area in half a day. I shared before and after pics.
