These are very thin, delicate 5" Alphabet letter and number stencils. The size is perfect for a variety of projects, but the thinness of the plastic makes them useable for maybe 2 times. I tried washing them after use and most of them tore easily.I did end up cutting these a bit to fit the lettering style I wanted and they worked great for that. I added a bit of paint to the tips as well, so I would say they are a great base letter if you want to get creative and add to them. I ended up only using them one time because of how flimsy they are.

This 20 pieces of nice variation wildflower design stencils is made of sturdy material. I don't know why but, these stencils each have a number on them that could be used as a stencil itself or could be taped over to avoid stenciling that number. Each stencil is about 4 3/4"h x 5 7/8"w, a good half page stencil. These designs are nice for paper or journal art, fabric quilt art and totebags.

Some of these are better than others, because they have a thicker border and less material cut out, and therefore are a bit more sturdy. But overall, these stencils are made from much too thin of a plastic and/or mylar material to be useful, because they are too flimsy and delicate. I think they will easily break and tear and not withstand much use. Especially those with thin borders and more cutouts.

I ordered these because I loved the repeating pattern that is created out of flowers, leaves, or fruit to fill the whole area of the stencil. I am using these for multiple different art and craft purposes. First, I am using these to create a surface design texture on clay (traditional clay ceramics that gets fired in a kiln). I am also using these to create mono prints for jelly plate print making. I can also use these with acrylic paint pen markers to color an area on a painting or when making mixed media art.

The greatest thing about these stencils is the big variety of projects you could use them for. I can definitely see their potential for wood projects although I will use them mostly for mixed media art journaling. The stencils are really nice and has lots of designs to choose from. Very good!

These are cute little stencils. They come just packed together in a lightweight plastic bag taped shut. But that’s ok. I got these to do some fabric decoration and they should work fine for that.
