This lock bar is super easy to set up and use HOWEVER it only comes in black. Not easy to see when in use. The other bar ($15) more expensive comes in dayglow colors. Both are the same quality, but I went with the one that was $15 cheaper.

So far after 5 weeks of daily use in hot 100degf weather, it’s been reliable and has not jammed up as a few reviews have noted. Will revise this in a few months

I got this but was having trouble with moving the numbers. It locked after two attempts. So make sure you positioned it correctly. I think I positioned it in correctly so it i had to move the steering wheel to move the locked. Other then that it is good without the key.

The lock got stuck while it’s attached to my cars wheeling wheel. Just last night I used my code to lock my car steering wheel and now next day while I want to unlock it does not accept the code. Tried resetting the code but the switch does not move towards SET position even with correct lock code. The lock is now stuck at my cars steering wheel and I cannot use my car until it’s unlocked. I am still looking for some help. There is no contact information about the manufacturer.Very bad experience so far.Now after being stuck for couple of days, I called someone for help and ended up cutting the steel bar with a cutting disc. It broke within few minutes. Attached pictures.That’s when I wonder how easy is it for thieves to break the steel bar.Conclusion: I would stay away from this product. It works for initial few months (in my case 1 year) and one fine day it will get jammed leaving you in big trouble. There is no other way to unlock it

I bought this to replace the regular Club I had. I feel my car is more protected with this. The instructions were easy to follow and it's much easier to use with a combination instead of a key. It fits my steering wheel much better also. I'm very happy with this...

There isn’t anything I don’t like about this lock. It’s heavy duty, easy to configure, spindles are large, durable and turn easily, even when the temps are in the teens. I’ve never had any problems with them sticking or hard to read when locking or unlocking. The parts that you grip are thick, solid and never too cold or to hot.I live in the beautiful state of Colorado that sadly has one of the worst car theft problems in the country. They like stealing big trucks here. Unfortunately I speak from experience. Mine got stolen, stripped and abandoned, so thankfully I eventually got it back. After rebuilding it, it was nerve racking leaving it parked anywhere in the city. Not anymore. Trying to steer with this thing mounted is a joke. In half a turn at the most it hits the seat or the A-pillar or the windshield. On my truck anyway! I bought this lock specifically because it doesn’t need keys. I HAVE ENOUGH KEYS. No regrets at all!

I found out that there had been a social media trend of people hotwiring Kia vehicles so I bought this for my 2020 Kia soul. It’s sturdy, the combination was easy to change (but requires you to know the original combo), and it doesn’t require me to put another key on my keyring. I tried to turn the wheel with the lock on, and the wheel wouldn’t turn once the lock hit the car frame. The ends of the lock are covered with plastic so they don’t scratch the steering wheel, and I wasn’t able to bend or break them on the ground.I imagine that this probably isn’t quite as “secure” as a lock with a key, but I think any would-be thief would probably decide to move on to the next vehicle instead of trying to get past the lock on my car.
