Purchased this for either of my new vehicles that are easily stolen because of the stupid new tech (keyless entry fobs) which allow anyone with basic tools to start and drive away your vehicle in minutes!!! Looks like it will work well in my 2022 sierra. However in my 2023 blazer, theres a dip in the floor that would allow this to be pushed up and somewhat out of the way. I think a thief would still have a tough time with only a partial brake .lol. And the big thing about it is just a deterrent along with a steering wheel club I got on here. I will use these when staying out of town at hotels, or any situation where I feel my vehicles are at risk. A thief is going to avoid vehicles with deterrents and go for easier marks.This isnt as much a deterrent as the steering wheel club thing, but if a thief really wanted my vehicle and thought hed cut or break the wheel lock...then also sees this...I think the thief would move on.
