This is a SOLID, maybe even too heavy, bracket for deterring thieves from stealing your car.We had the displeasure of having our car, a vehicle known for the ease of stealing it, stolen a few weeks ago. Some kids took it for a joy ride and/or as part of an initiation. Had we had something like this steering wheel lock, I'm confident they'd have not bothered. The key slips right in and unlocks the bar readily. As noted, the lone concern is the weight of the object itself. We need to be careful when removing it to not damage our car. It is powered coated, which lowers that probability a lot.Just need the bar to do its job for another few years and then it's one to another car.

All of these offerings are of similar form and function. This one has plenty of beef with easy on/off features.Comes with a standard set of two curved keys. A tip for those not familiar always face the lock towards the dash. That way attempting to smash the lock is almost impossible.I want this to replace my old painted club with a heavily plastic coated lock system that is easily seen and ideally enough to deter a thief to just move on to another vehicle. Can it be removed, yes. Is it the only security I use, no. Always use 2 and your most likely good.

It's solid. Would be good to pair this with a brake pedal lock. Brake pedal locks are more effective but it works good for my 1994 chevy silverado k1500 pickup truck

Loving this product. Especially the bright yellow color. It's a Hugh deterrent. Like that I don't have to use my key to install it. Just place inside the steering wheel and extend it. The key is very durable, and strong. You get two (2). The lock itself is impressive and is very strong and tuff. I know that if someone want to get your car that bad, they can, but why not make them aware that for yours, they are gonna have to work for it. Typically, they'll take ah pass, and move on, which is the entire intention of this device. Get one of these, and YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

After having my Kia broken into twice in a matter of months; I finally caved and purchased an anti-theft device to go along with my alarm and engine failsafe. It's made well and is easy to use. It is a bit more loose around the steering wheel than I would prefer, but not so much to raise a fuss. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. I may already have.

My Infiniti Q60 was stolen from in front of my home and unfortunately crashed so I bought another car. After that incident I realized I needed extra protection for my new baby. This works well and is easy to use. Nice snug fit and the bright color is easy to see. With the included security system and this I feel a lot more comfortable.

I grew up in the eighties and nineties so I remember informercials for the CLUB. Even though I had a car alarm already, I bought one as a visual detergent This unit feels and looks similar but also different with its larger bar. Made by KNXFRO, the parts seem solid and have weight but if a skilled enough car thief wants your car, the best you can do is slow them down. Your car alarm should be layer one, this big yellow thing layer two, and maybe a kill switch for layer three ect. I purchased this for for an older car circa 2000 parked in my driveway.Pros:Cheap.Looks retro.Self-defense tool.Cons:Cheap.Doesn't prevent someone sawing the steering wheel or removing it like in Fast in the Furiest.
