Hard to configure barely work when you do figure them out all around trash

Constant white noise in the background. Always changes depending on what sound is playing. It is god awful and mentioned in many reviews, that I didn't see before purchase. AWFUL!

The delivery was so fast and the product was so good

This product works great as expected. The audio quality is really high and I love the hot swap batteries as well as the multiple ways of controlling volume.However I do not like the general white noise in the background. This is a known issue, even if you disable all of the mic pass through there is still an amount of noise there that you cannot be rid of. Also if you want any ability to set up profiles or anything SteelSeries now suckers you into downloading GG instead of the tried and true Engine. Even finding a download that is just Engine anymore is really difficult and you have to fight the automatic updates to the bloated GG.

PERFECT AND QUICK DELIVERY

First off...I would have returned these if I didn't love the ear covers that can be purchased separately for customization. I bought the Neo Noir ones and I love them. But if I didn't care about the customization for aesthetics, I would have returned these.Ok, so the sound. They sound AWFUL out of the box. If you install the Steelseries GG software, you can customize the equalizer (you can use either the Steelseries Engine for the simple equalizer, or the Sonar app for more robust tweaking...but they both still sound awful. I spent hours scouring the interwebz for equalizer settings that sounded decent, but they are just terrible. Hollow, tinny, with no body. And this is coming off my prior headset, the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, which isn't the best...but wow, even that one was miles better. And I'm not blaming the headset itself, because you CAN get them sounding great. So it's not the quality of the speakers themselves. It's the Steelseries software that is the problem. So here is where we get to the added cost part of my review. If you want to keep this headset...spend the $15 and get the Dolby Atmos app. Poof. Wonderful sound. So the issue is 100% the Steelseries software.But then there's another issue. Battery life. Instead of like every other gaming headset that comes with a USB-C cable to charge, these use batteries. They come with two batteries, so the intent is that while you are using one, you should be charging the other. The issue is that the actual battery life is TERRIBLE! You get maybe 12 hours out of one battery before you have to swap out to the other. Every other headset I've had in the past that uses the USB-C cable, including the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, gets DAYS before it needs to be charged. And if you run out of juice, you can just plug it in and keep going. But with this one...if you ever run into a session where both batteries are dead at the same time, you're S.O.L. And yes, that has happened. The power/charging doc that comes with the headset sometimes glitches out and "forgets" to charge the second battery. I've read that it's a common issue. You have to reset it to get it to "see" that the battery needs to be charged, which involves re-pairing the headset. It's a major pain.So yeah...I would have returned these if I didn't care so much about the aesthetics.

I absolutely love this gaming headset! This is my second pair, and it continues to impress me. One of the best features is the ability to charge one battery while using the other, ensuring you’re never stuck without power.It’s incredibly easy to set up and use, and it works flawlessly. The sound quality is excellent, making it perfect for gaming or any other use. Highly recommend this headset to anyone looking for great performance and convenience!

I did a bunch of research on headsets before I decided to make this purchase, but when I saw that there was an Amazon renewed one that was less than half the price, I decided to give it a shot. It came in today and I was half expecting to get a box of rocks, but inside was the headset, base station and all! I immediately became concerned when the battery compartment wouldn’t stay closed, but soon realized that the 2 little magnets seemed to have fallen off (but were still stuck to the headset.)Sound and mic quality are great on the headset and I love that I can have my phone connected at the same time for things like Discord while retaining the game audio. I actually use it for my Nintendo Switch, but it works perfectly fine when the docking station is set to PS4 mode. Overall, I am super happy with these and I say 2 dots of super glue to fix the battery door’s magnets was well worth taking $180 off.

Heb deze headset gekregen voor mijn verjaardag. Nu een week in gebruik gehad. Accessoires en van alles voor gekocht vanwege de lovende recensies. Helaas vind ik hem nogal tegen vallen.De koptelefoon word best warm /zweterig en zakt langzaam af. Dit is waarschijnlijk pasvorm en dit is voor iedereen anders. Mijn Sony koptelefoon sluit bijvoorbeeld perfect aan. De DAC die erbij zit draait soms uit zichzelf om de enige troubleshoot die ik heb kunnen vinden hiervoor is stroom eraf en er weer op. De bluetooth reconnect soms als je meerdere apparaten op je computer hebt aangesloten. Dit is echt heel vervelend want ik werk met een draadloos toetsenbord en meerdere koptelefoons. Bij sommige dingen zoals discord was ik met de mic de ene keer beter te verstaan als de andere keer ( lengte bleef het zelfde dus geen idee hoe dit kwam ) Best veel irritaties in totaal dus. Nu paar pluspuntjes Meerdere apparaten op de DAC aansluiten gaat prima. Ook het overschakelen van PS4 naar PC en terug werkt goed via het hubje en via de koptelefoon. Het harder en zachter zetten van de game / je chat is wel echt top via het kastje / de headsetHelaas heeft het te veel nadelen voor mij in totaal en gaat hij retourHopelijk heeft er iemand iets aan deze recentie

Honestly, after seeing the price tag of $115 on Amazon Renewed, I thought I was being scammed lol. I just received my headset within a day of ordering the product and holy moly, this is the best sounding headset I’ve ever used! The standard retail is $330 and I bought this for nearly a third of the price and wow, this entire headset is everything I ever wanted in a headset. After adjusting the volume box settings and connecting my phone to the Bluetooth, I was set. No problems whatsoever with this product. Will re-review in maybe a month to see if it’s still working haha

Habe hier die negativen Bewertungen gelesen und kann keine einzige davon nachvollziehen.Vorab: Probleme mit dem ersten Gerät, ohne Einwände durch Steelseries gelöstDas erste Gerät, dass ich von Amazon erhalten hatte, war leider defekt – insofern zwar voll funktionstüchtig, jedoch hatte die Anzeige am GameDac Probleme, dass der Bildschirm manchmal alles verschoben angezeigt hat und der Sound war nicht immer so wie erwartet.Anstatt das dann direkt an Amazon zurückzusenden, habe ich mich zuvor an den Steelseries Support gewannt, der hat direkt und schnell via Ticketsystem geantwortet und zuerst versucht mit Hilfe das Problem zu lösen, als klar wurde, dass es sich um einen Defekt handelte, wurde mir das Produkt anstandslos durch Steelseries selbst ausgetauscht, gegen ein komplett neues, das alte musste ich zuvor mittels Nachweis zerstören.Das ist der erste Punkt meiner Kritik an manchen negativen Rezensionen hier. Ja, Steelseries verlangt zuvor einen Nachweis, dass das Gerät zerstört wurde, genau nach ihrer Anleitung, erst dann wird Ersatz geliefert. Wer das Gerät nicht zerstören will, dem bieten sie alternative Optionen. Manche behaupten hier Steelseries hätte zuerst die Zerstörung beauftragt und dann den Fall abgelehnt. Das halte ich für eine halbe Wahrheit, ich bin genau so vorgegangen wie von Steelseries gefordert, der Fall wurde vorher genau von Ihnen geprüft, die Fotos für den zerstörten Artikel habe ich geliefert und der Ersatz wurde anstandslos gewährt – ich vermute, dass Leute die dann abgelehnt wurden, versucht haben, die Zerstörung zu inszenieren und das Teil nur auseinander geschraubt haben oder Fotos aus dem Internet genommen haben :D aber ja, nur meine VermutungEigentliche Bewertung: Die Ersatzlieferung von SteelseriesDas Gerät dass dann wenige Tage später bei mir ankam war nagelneu und fehlerfrei, der GameDac funktioniert einwandfrei, der Sound ist spitze, das Mikro ebenfalls.Sound, Ohrpolster und BassDas Arctis Pro und Arctis Pro Wireless haben einen extrem flachen Frequenzverlauf, also über den gesamten Frequenzbereich sind die jeweiligen Bereiche immer gleich vertreten. Dies ist aktuell auch bei hochwertigen Studiokopfhörern der Fall und gewünscht, wer das allerdings nicht gewohnt ist und einfach eher günstigere Kopfhörer vormals besessen hat, der wird den Sound anfangs etwas eigen finden – allerdings, sobald man es gewöhnt ist, möchte man eigentlich nicht mehr zu günstigen zurück. Der Flache Frequenzverlauf gibt somit den Sound am ehesten so wieder, wie er bei der Aufnahme bzw. Erstellung gedacht war.Anbei befinden sich die Ohrpolster mit dem Mesh-Gewebe, diese sind zwar atmungsaktiv, es geht aber etwas an Bass verloren. Die Kopfhörer klingen immer noch super, jedoch kommt der flache Sound dann richtig zum Tragen.Wer wert auf mehr Bass legt, soll sich auf Steelseries (Webseite) die Ohrpolster aus Leder (Kunstleder) kaufen (habe ich hier), damit ist auch das Argument einiger Bewertungen, des fehlenden Basses, Geschichte. Die Lederpolster isolieren die Ohren komplett und der Bass kommt mit ordentlich Kraft an.Kurz gesagt, wer auf Bass steht soll die Lederpolster kaufen.Wer lieber (etwas) weniger Bass hat, bleibt bei den mitgelieferten Mesh-Polstern.Egal ob Musik oder im Spiel, ich bin vom Klang begeistert.MikrofonDas Mikrofon hat eine Discord-Zertifizierung und einige Auszeichnungen, diese hat es nicht umsonst. Es macht genau das, wofür es entwickelt wurde. Es entfernt den Umgebungslärm und sorgt dafür, dass man beim Gegenüber klar und verständlich zu hören ist, das dazu mit einem super klang.Das Mikro ist dabei so konzipiert, dass selbst bei erhöhtem Umgebungslärm (z.B. Lan-Party, Café) die Sprache beim Gegenüber noch gut verständlich ist. Dafür ist das Mikrofon ausgelegt, das macht es super, wer sich etwas anders erwartet, sollte sich auch ein Mikrofon für den jeweiligen passenden Zweck besorgen. Natürlich kann ich es zum Beispiel nicht mit meinem Großmembranmikrofon vergleichen, der Sound von letzterem ist Studiotauglich – stell ich das aber in ein Zimmer mit nur etwas Umgebungslärm, ist der 1 zu 1 auch beim Gegenüber zu hören und das will man im Spiel oder bei Telefonaten in der Regel nicht.VerarbeitungIst wertig, stabil, mit Booster-Packs noch variierbar – viel mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen.Ob ich es wieder kaufen würde – definitiv, ja!
