I’m happy with this product. It was cheaper than other brad point bits. It has been worth the money and has been a quality product so far. Also, totally glad I bought Brad point bits. A major upgrade from standard bits.

YouTubers are the best value for the money they hold up then you can drill through plywood softwood hardwood very easy I've had them for 3 years and only out of the whole set only had to replace one bit which is the quarter inch because it broke other than that it's the best set of drill bits that I bought for my woodworking for the money I recommend these highly for somebody that's on a budget and starting out and wants b**** yes you may have to replace them down the line but I use my b**** about five times a week for doing different things for my woodworking and I have other than one bit that I had to replace I've never had any problems with these bits

These seem well-made. I tried the 5/16 bit, and it spun true, cut smoothly, and left a flat bottom. The case is a little odd. It's wider than the traditional steel drill case. The drills are in two sections, with the smaller bits in the front section. Some of the bits in the front obscure the size markings of bits in the back. There are holes for a few drill sizes smaller than 1/8", but I doubt that anyone makes brad-points that small. One edge of the case was bent out, and required use of pliers to let the lid close easily. The lid snaps securely closed.Update: I did find one of the smaller bits was bent. I haven't used many of them, so may find more bent ones. Don't know if they can be straightened.More update: I found another small bit that wobbled, also the 29/64ths bit did. I was able to straighten them pretty well using 3 dowels, 3 rubber bands, and a 3-inch vise. The rubber bands are to hold the dowels upright on the vise jaws; 2 dowels toward the ends of one jaw, and the 3rd dowel near the center of the other jaw. I rolled the drill bit on a flat plate and marked the high side, then put that side against the single dowel and tightened the vise. You may have to do it more than once. IDK if being able to straighten them this way is an indication of low-quality steel; I'm no metallurgist. Some of the bits look to run dead true, but many of them run out slightly. This is not unique; I even have a set of Makita impact bits with a wobbly bit.

All of the smaller bits are bent with unevenly sized flutes and none of the brad points are actually centred on the drill bit. This means holes are pretty rough and 0.5-1mm away from where you start them.If all you need is to make an approximately round hole in an approximate location, these will be fine and they fit the price. If you want to drill with any level accuracy, look elsewhere.

I just used these to bore holes in hard wood and they cut fast, clean an accurately. The index is pretty flimsy but the drill bits are a good value.

Drill bits are great, but the case is not to good. Can't see the back row size. Should have been more space between rows. Beside that , it is a great product

Comparing with my old-n-cheep brad points, I am very happy with these bits. The accuracy is quite acceptable (it’s not perfect but drill bits seldom are). The most important feature of these bits for me is they are not too aggressive. Cheeper brad bits tend to be way too aggressive essentially destroying the wood specially in bigger diameters but these work great and have a nice balance between speed and cleanness of the cut. To me they fall in the sweet spot in terms of price compared to quality. The quality is very good (not perfect) and the price is reasonable.

These drill bits have been working well for me so far in hard woods. The case isn't great, though. It's metal, and the bits do not fit snugly. They will fall out if the case is turned over and get lodged in spaced in the case interior. You have to put it down deliberately, not just throw it in your drawer or box. When the package arrived, many of the bits had dislodged from their places and were free-floating in the metal case. They may have been sharper if this hadn't happened - as I said the case is metal - but thusfar they have worked well for me.

As noted in several reviews, the brad point is not perfectly aligned with the center of the bit shaft. Having written that, I must note that it does not seem to matter. I tested several bits using a drill press and a clamped down section of softwood. At the bottom of the rather clean hole was a precise, conical shaped indentation from the brad point, so, it is not off by much. The bits did not tear the surface grain appreciably, and certainly not like a pilot bit designed for metal does.I tilted the press table to 15 degrees to see how the bits behaved on an angle, and although there was a slight wobble of the wood, the hole was easily made and clean inside. Again, no surface grain tear-out. The resulting hole from several test bits was about 1/64" larger than the nominal bit diameter, which is about what I find in other bits and of no real consequence to my wood-working. When I start worrying about 1/64", it will be time to get a Valium prescription.UPDATE: I fear I might have been a bit optimistic in my original review. Clamped down hard in a drill press, these bits work adequately, but in a hand drill, or even unclamped in a drill press, they show the off-center brad point by badly wobbling the wood-piece and an uneven hole. So, in the right circumstances, they work well--in any other conditions, not so good.

At this price one should not expect a "precision" bit set nor the highest quality. But for the price, these are exceptionally good bits. They are well-centered (relatively speaking), have a decent case and cut well.PROS:* Bits are of surprisingly good quality at this price* Bits are decently-centered; no significantly off-center bits* The case is metal and protectiveCONS:* These aren't precision bits nor should they be expected to be so at this price* Some bits may have a very slight "wobble"... but not enough to cause project problems* The plastic handle on the case is junk; you'll wind up throwing it away almost immediately* Box can be a bit difficult to open (I just leave it closed but not clasped)* Some bits may not be completely finished-sharp... however they still drill and a micro file can fix them easily* Bit sizes on the back row are blocked by the front-row bits and difficult to readWhile these cons may seem significant, one has to remember this is a 25-piece drill bit set for less than a buck a bit. That's why I give it 5 stars: value for price. I would definitely buy this set again.
